Watchtower can't last long, really. This is like the last breaths before death, because you can't tighten the screws endlessly.
I see an analogy of David Splanes propaganda in comparison to Joseh Gobbels, the propaganda minister for Adolf Hitler right before the fall of the NAZI empire on May 7, 1945.
The internet was the beginning of the end. Too much information coming in at an uncontrollable pace. In the past, they had a tight grip and an almost absolute control on acceptable reading material.
Fast forward to the the time period of the mid 90"s until today. In the privacy of their own homes, JWs can read and verify if their faith can stand up to criticism. Since it cannot, faith begins to weaken.
Trust the Bible and what it teaches us. Do not out faith in a man or group. If GOD gave us the instructions, we don't need anyone changing HIS WORD.

An apostate is someone who leave their religious beliefs. We never stopped being a Christian to become a Buddist, or to follow Jewish teachings or a Muslim, etc. Most of us are STILL Christians, and a part of the Church and body of Christ. Again, thank you. My sister's husband, who also is an elder, told my sister that my experiences were from the devil. Which has caused me great concern to this day.

I also am doubter as Thomas. As he wanted to touch the wounds of Christ so that he would believe him, so that I could restore my confident, when I can keep (touch) my Lord's commandments which are based on Love. This way I can be sure that I am from God and Christ. I believe that my Father will dispel this poisonous doubts that are sown inside me and I will not be afraid of my suspicions at all, because the savior is greater than my doubts and Yeah He is so powerful.
Do I have a problem with everything they told me? No! I listened to their counsel and expressed my supplication through prayers. But what I realized is that the main task is to play a role that is not yours. Labeling you an "elder in the 'Christian' congregation." If they were really followers of Christ, caring for the sheep, then they should be happy for me that my sins were forgiven, and that The Heavenly Father revealed to me his Son to follow him.

This is one of the saddest videos they've ever made. Even hardcore JWs know something is wrong. Everything is going to be exposed very soon. Even the governments and institutions of the world can no longer hide the truth. Some people will prefer the darkness, but many I know have woken up over the past year.
Some of those hardcore JWs might force themselves to admit the lie because the logic and evidence is too great and it is insulting and embarrassing not to. What delicious irony that a GB member is here complaining about the injustice of the legal system. The same GB that mocks justice with their own Judicial Committees that operate without any transparency and who assume the guilt of the accused instead of assuming innocence. A defendant in a judicial hearing must face this secret tribunal without representation, character or material witnesses and are forbidden to record any aspect of the proceedings. Mr. Splane, the measure with which you are measuring out will indeed be measured out to you.

What a danger this sect, this part of the video where he blatantly denies the US judicial system, from which they themselves take as much profit as a company that they are, and where there is no morality whatsoever, since they use the same tactics, in their "extrajudicial trials." "This should be shown to some law firm or body of law to set a precedent for what they think or preach about the US judicial system, so that later on they don't come out and say that they never said it.

When Splane said "Actually, neither side probably wants the whole truth to come out in court." it was an amazing confession. I can only imagine that he was excusing their fight against having their podophile list being revealed.

Shunning was kind of passe until it hits home. JW's are whacked. 50 yrs my oldest bro shunned me because I didn't want to join their numbers. He calls me out of the blue for me to co-sign a note. I hung up on him. He and his wife kicked out their daughter after she gave up 30yrs of her life to the JW's. She got woken up while spreading the word for 9 yrs in China where all the JW's are hypocrites. the people I met in the local congregation were very nice to me, nothing bad to say about the people but that whacko religion is messed up.

The Watchtower did not teach Eric Wilson well. Because the Watchtower teaches there deluded indoctrinated followers not to do any independent thinking. It is clear MR Eric Wilson has been doing a lot of critical independent thinking and outside research. Something the Watchtower Frowns upon and orders there followers not to do. MR Eric Wilson should be credited for his dogged determination and research. And going down the rabbit whole until he discovered the scam and fraud that Jehovah's Witnesses are.
Scriptures read with emphasis; gestures; audience contact, use of notes,.. yeah, they trained him alright. With the flood of exposures to come, so many should be able to submit disassociate letters with less fear of friends and family member holding firm to shunning someone who leaves based on moral conscience. And what a sense of justice for many abused and disfellowshipped unscriptually to see their persecutor in the biggest spot light. Just halfway through so far. I just wanted to mention that I thought it very strange that David Splane stated with glee that Eliphaz admitted talking to a spirit he didn't recognise. He chuckled a little. What was so funny? Then later when he said regarding interviewees on TV programmes "you know what those people would say", he smiled. Some of "those people" are victims of CSA. Is that something to smile about? It seemed very misplaced..very odd. Anyone else notice that? I'm reminded of Stephen Letts talk a few years ago where he said reports about CSA were apostate driven lies and he licked his lips as he said no organisation does more than Jehovah's organisation to protect children. Creepy.

I think about Lett's rant back then. Lying right into the faces of all jehovah witnesses. Lying to their faces with such sincerity. By now all jehovah witnesses have to be aware of all their lies. They have to be. They watch these videos. Unless they have selective amnesia they have to remember all the videos. The shunning instructional videos were my favorites and the hilarious pillowgate video. But this one is hard to beat. The hypocrisy is awesome. The best one yet. I can't wait to see them top this one.
I seem to recall that some decades ago they were reassuring the flock that 'no weapon made against you will succeed'. Apparently even quite simple weapons succeed in making Watchtower panic and lose adherents. Pathetic.
I think that David Splane really cares not about what God and Christ want, but about his position that he has achieved in the organization. After all, it is necessary to react somehow to the negative coverage of the organization's activities in the media. What he really lacks is fear of God and true love for the truth and neighbour. So either he has to tell the truth or a lie. He chose the latter. By their deeds you will know them, said the Lord.

The GB member DS forgets about 1 Corinthians 11:18-19 - Any way you try to forge those verses this is obviously talking about the same church/assembly. I had to make my sister face the reality of the JW brothers and sisters who are not even allowed to talk about their doubts to one another or at least voice their opinion about the GB teaching without taking the risk of being denounced to elders and systematically labeled as 'apostate' without any public debate on the matter at hand and if standing on their ground about what they think/believe, be disfellowshiped and shunned...
How convenient for the GB who admits themselves that they can be wrong (only) because they proved it over and over again on wrong teaching to wrong prophetic interpretations... So my question to my sister was: in 50 years how many books have you studied, principles, and rules have you followed that are now considered by the same GB as wrong understanding or old truth?... Where is the Holy Spirit acting through the GB to be well inspired? Also, there is no such thing as old truth/lights... How do you know that they know better today, without any debate, and search for yourself, knowing that they ask for all your spare time to be devoted to what they ask you to do right or wrong and somehow scares you to death (at ARMEGEDOn) for listening to anything that contradicts them, or anyone can prove their case and show the GB organization hypocrisy? Paul can only be right in 1 Cor 11:18-19.
Would a liar/manipulator tell you what he/she is doing to you? Or would he/she ask you to not listen to what other people say about him/her? My sister didn't answer at first but finally admitted that she can't defy my arguments... Now she's a PIMO (scared to talk about it to my other sisters, one being an elder's wife).
Also whoever the GB claims to be... Jesus said to His apostles that there is no Master but him and that they are all brothers? All together their claim is quite ARROGANT when it comes to being an (indisputable) authority. Does a servant oblige whoever he/she serves? Or doesn't he/she have to prove how good he is to get the position? Well, that can't be achieved by just saying I'am the Lord's organization or I am anointed.

For the very same reasons If you have doubts about this channel and doubts about the Media... You still can check the material and jugements produced by the courts (when it's about trials for instance).

And it is pretty disturbing how rocked they are under pressure to make too many flawed arguments and still feel that they got it in the bag b/c their audience is still fearfully loyal and they are not that intelligent. They are about to find out how much they took the blind loyalty of their followers for granted when the government comes to seize them.
I was a regular pioneer in the 70’s along with my brother-in-law. He applied for Bethel and was accepted. After he was there for a year and a half he was sent back home. The stories he told are unbelievable. Homosexuality amongst the sisters and brothers caused many to be disfellowshipped, reproved, and kicked out. The governing body completely cleaned house and there was no mention of it, just covered up. The only reason I knew the details was because my brother-in-law had first hand knowledge. And of course he was disfellowshipped himself. He was born gay and couldn’t change. My two sons were born gay but raised by me as JW,s. Both baptized but could not live a lie. After being in the “truth” for thirty plus years, I woke up to the real truth. I basically wasted one half of my life in the organization.
I had a friend that is a Jehovah Witness she had the nerve to try to make me join this cult when I told her I have my own religion the next thing I know she started mailing me literature by JW and I had already told her two to three times I'm not interested in that cult the last straw was some guy ended up at my door 6:30 in the evening knocking I looked out the peephole and my neighbor opened his door can I help you and I see he goes over to the neighbor trying to hand him literature and the neighbor said no sir I'm not interested long story short I blocked her number and I blocked her on Facebook when I say I'm not interested in what's your selling I'm not interested.
So encouraging to see many friends waking up to this spiritual abuse and come to truth in Jesus and Jehovah....all scripture inspired & complete. You don’t need modern day Talmud & other doctrines of men.

Everything Splane says is designed to put words in your mouth and thoughts in your head. "You LOVE the organization..." Did you notice that his response to dealing with questions about their doctrine is to ONLY consult the sources of those doctrines? If it's the truth, it should stand up to scrutiny. You should be able to poke it with a stick. The fact that they say "don't research", "don't question", "don't harbor private ideas" is an unwitting admission that their words will not withstand examination in the light of truth.

I had heard rumors, decades ago, of an absence of spirituality on the part of the Governing Body,... who back then was only the governing body. Missionaries arrived to their foreign assignment with unflattering stories of what they'd seen in New York.

Thanks for that masterful expose. Much appreciated. When I took Watchtower to court they did not settle the case before it went to court (Matt 5). They were guilty, but thought they could get away with what they had done, and mostly they did. But it cost them thousands of Euros to pay a barrister, when they could have saved that money by apologising to me. Three times the judges told WT they had breached human rights and the Irish Constitution but they chose to ignore that. Their lies during that case were horrendous. Even so, I still hope some elders can be saved from the sin-inducing secret rules of WT.

Right!? When my mom sent me the link and I started to look at the videos I was shocked! But even over the years when I would attend some meetings and assemblies I could barely take. I had to leave. It's weird and doom and gloom and so much propaganda
When I was studying with them I found in Acts that there was a verse that just had a line not a scripture in the Bible they gave me . right then I would not study

I’ve stopped the charades of “my religion has the truth and all others have the lie or is spurred by the devil”. This creates in us a very judge mental, close minded view of others which has caused so much wars/death and segregation/broken families/social structure. The latter is like a mental death and is just as bad if not worse than taking someone’s life . I also don’t see the reasoning that life came from nothing without a designer/creator (nothing comes from nothing, man can’t even create a blade of grass!). So that leaves me sitting here wondering why god is allowing most if not all of us to be confused with a million different religions (thousands in Christianity alone) while our eternal life supposedly hinges on our decision now. I hope one day he will make himself clear in his direction and we will all have the chance to choose if we want to spend eternity under this new arrangement rather than immediate death without fully understanding (the goats or ones seated on the ‘left’). Otherwise, why create humans with free will if we just have to follow a strict path like robots.
Let people choose once they are clearly informed, if not then armageddon will just be God’s Holocaust and it will go down in history as the opposite of love

It seems they put a lot of energy fighting against apostates.
Since I left the organisation I watched a lot of sermons and visited study groups and attend to church events. One big difference is: They do not rant against so called „apostates“, not a single time. Apostates seems to exist only in the jw org.
„apostates“ are produced by this org itself. Now they have to fight against this boomerang.
They don't seem to have a problem following government covid recommendations..
