North Wales is a superb area for fishing, Bass, Pollock, Plaice, Smoothound, Tope and numerous other species are present, as well as numbers of large Wrasse in the shallows
Best spearfishing channel out there, non stop tips 👍
@@robertwood7792 thanks!! Always trying to add maximum value to viewers instead of endless catch and cooks to boost watch time and make money through TH-cam
I watched this video last weekend, wildcamping at your new favourite mark - I know it well. Vis was awful ; a metre at best! 😂
So, no fish for me that day. But what a sunset it has.
Safe diving buddy.
Good video again Jack, that sand upto the rock working well again. I have to work on that potty mouth excitement. My eldest tells me off all the time when I forget the kids are still about.😅
@@leemathews3370 Always the best spot for the bass!
About 80% sure I know the mark you're talking about, I recognise that big rock! Never dived it but I walked to it when I was camping up there once! Secret's safe with me haha
@@johnnevison1337 it’s a v good area, doubt many people will ever spear it due to the walk in
Nice one
Heading out tomorrow, doesn't look promising - 50/50, but there was a triggerfish in the area today, so fingers crossed
Another great and informative vid.
@@jonbirchall4665 Thank you!
Great to see another one new video Jack,
Ohh I didn’t know that air bubbles scare fish
Another fantastic video. It would be great for you to share some shooting tips, what's your process to lining up shots. I'm going through a bit of a miss streak atm and could do with some help 😂
@@kotechfilms9130 thinking about doing exactly this
Am an ex Royal Marine and have done a LOT of long range shooting where technique is crucial, the same all applies to Spearfishing
The most important thing in Spearfishing is a good breath hold to allow the fish to get so close you can’t miss though!
awesome video!!
@@memy-o4d thanks!
Awesome video mate! I was struggling with wind in my videos until i bought a foam cover for my gopro. Not sure what camera youre using but you should look for something similar. Thanks for the great video mate. Really, really interesting. 😊
What you call groundswell is a normal day in west penwith 😊
@@nuffseed596 haha I’ve been there and yea definitely! Still had 10-12m vis even in massive swells though
@@jackmetcalfe8542 dya get guilthead bream up your way? Beautiful, great eating fish
@@nuffseed596 yes, a friend has shot a couple off Anglesey however I’ve yet to see one
Another great video… I’m going to have to find a few bass and click my fins now to see what happens 😂
@@yamyamfishing worth experimenting with scratching rocks as well, sometimes fish like that, have seen South African divers do it a lot
@@jackmetcalfe8542 I’ll often flick sand or scratch on rocks etc to see what reaction I can get
Bass are amazingly inquisitive
Awesome video . ! I am planing a holiday for 4 days with family to Anglesey . Could u offer place for spin fishing mate from the shore :)) I am foreign , i do not know really where should i go . 😵💫
@@timucinturkylmaz5678 cable bay is a good mark, lots of pollock, wrasse and the odd bass, should catch a few there off the end of the headlands
@@jackmetcalfe8542 Thank you very much Mate .
cracking video jack, quick question, you've driven down out shoot road there to that location (i won't mention location) rather than parking in the car park. The clip youve shown with all those bass, is that down there or is it another location?
@@GwionWright the fish were is a different location to the walking/driving footage, definitely not giving that mark away!
Interesting about the mask leaking, mine does a little when I'm sat on the bottom !! I'll look into that thanks..
Have you had much success spearing around moelfre?
@@SethHutchinson-f9z nothing. The vis there is almost always terrible, less than 2m
Can you fit me some windows please ?! (that hoodie) Another jazzin vid arkid…cheers from The Llyn.
@@joelfildes5544 hahaha good to hear you enjoyed it, window fitters are like gold dust in N wales!
