    This instructor is the best of the bunch. I'd pay for lessons from him. At the 5:20 mark, "making sure the shoulder feels as if it stays behind your back foot." That, to me, is the "magic move". This is where most people screw up and they cast the club. I highly recommend this video to anyone struggling with their swing.

    This is one of the best descriptions of how to hit a draw I have ever watched! The keeping the back shoulder over the back foot through impact is a very understandable piece I think I've been missing!

    Never heard a pro say these two things in order to hit a draw. " (1)The right elbow stays below the left elbow on all shots if youre rt handed " (2) The club is open at address and quickly closes at impact. So easy to understand, but seldom mentioned.❤ because you were probably taught at an early age and assume everyone knows that. So clear and simple to understand.

      @@shaunsmith937 yeah, I wrote that in jest....but there's a serious side to it too....timing key.....I did it when I was a teen, took 20 years off golf, then took it out of my swing when I started playing again as an adult....and, that was a stupid idea....but, it was easy to put back....... then I added another one...ps. after a few years of wonder, that foot tap is related to the action of the torso and timing, no the hands and arms.......once you have tried to understand the foot tap in relation to your hands and arms you have f'ed yourself with a swing thought......my sense is, you have added too much mental input..... tap it and keep it with your torso and shoulder action...... your mind can only have so much input into the action of the torso.... thus it's quieter up there on the backswing...

    I think this is the best video about the golf swing I've ever watched. I've been working on fixing my over the top swing. Its improved, but that tip about keeping your shoulder back, is so simple. I hit balls today. I couldn't believe what a difference it made. The straightness and ball height were noticeably improved. Always a work in progress, but I believe this will get me on the right path . What an excellent instructor.

Nothing but pulls and slices, can’t hit it to the right no matter how hard I try haha. I think keeping the right shoulder back is the trick that I’m missing, should be a great feel move for me. Only negative is I seem to be hitting a lot of iron shots fat? Not sure if this is due to casting the club or flipping at impact. Any tips to stop the fat shots would be greatly appreciated. I'm a bit confused about swinging in to out then keep swinging OUT or back in? Some instructors say to swing on an Arc. In - out - In. I can hit a draw when I swing in-out-in
    When I try to swing in-out-out the face is open and I hit a push or push-fade.
    What is the swing and hand path...In-Out-In or in-out-out?

    I can only hit a draw these days, in my younger years (15 years ago) I used to play a high cut. I for the life of me can't intentionally hit a slice, fade or cut (they do happen just not when I need them to)

    • @diegobert4033
      @diegobert4033 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Dude this happened to me I have no idea how. Been playing for about 10 years. When I first started all slice/cut/fade. I felt like it was overnight but like 5 years ago I just started hitting draws/hooks/pulls. Except for irons I hit them pretty straight honestly.
      It’s find it’s been way more difficult to control my game lol. I can’t for the life of me fade woods, hybrids, irons. Some tee shots with driver on dog legs right I can do it but feels very exaggerated.
      “You can talk to a fade, but a hook won't listen,” is REAL. Snap hooks suck balls, I’m pulling the shit out of iron approaches I can’t “snap” out of it lol.
      Used to be consistently mid 80s, I’m now consistently 90-95 I’ll be really happy with a day in the 80s. This game is such a pain.

    A lot of great information. However, I wouldn't refer to that as a "True Draw" it's a push draw. Hell if you want to get technical a straight on swing plane with a slightly closed face is more of a true draw then a push draw.

    Ok so you say just because the ball curves to the left doesn't mean it's a true draw??? Bet you can't explain the mathematics behind that..
    Just because you can hit a draw on a simulation doesn't mean you have that consistency on the range or course.. I'm guessing you don't.
    There are obviously multiple ways to hit a ball left or right or straight. You saying that other people are not doing it the "true" way is like a baseball player saying, "there is only 1 way you can hit the ball to left field"... which is definitely false..
