@@KleoYan ohh sorry, my setup is 3 group fan and connect to controller. 1st and 2nd group is 120mm, and 3rd is 140mm. i can change all 3 group color on L connect, but on the fan profile cant show what rpm run on the 1st group. sorry for my bad english.

The Infinity SL140 infinity itself is such a long-awaited product, I'm so glad that this model itself finally shows up! If I had the option back in Christmas when I built my PC itself, I would probably opt for O11D Mini and side-mount a 280mm AIO. But anyways, those 10x SL120 infinity fans also look really nice in my O11D EVO itself. It's also great to see some improvement on the product itself, like a reduced gap between light strip itself and the edge. However, the thing I'm really looking forward to itself is a version with reversed blades, so a intake fan would also face the internal of the case itself, actually showing its renowned infinity mirror at the axis. How hard can it be? Now I set side fan itself to exaust just for pure aesthetic reasons. A reversed-blade variant would eliminate the hard choice itself between maximum aesthetic and best cooling performance, itself's so bad that they haven't done it!

Hi Josh the King, welcome to my channel. So long the fans are of the same model and using the same controller, you can plug both the 120 and 140 uni fan. All is needed is to set the correct PWM Fan Profile. look under Fan/Pump Profile lian-li.com/L3-manual/#elementor-toc__heading-anchor-1 on the right of that page, you can select the 120mm or 140mm fan profile
@KleoYan So I have 3 120mm with controller hub and 2 140mm with motherboard kabels. so I try to connect the 140mm with the 120mm kabel to the connector but it doesn't work. It only works if I use the 140mm labels to the motherboard. But then I can't adjust the rgb. The 120mm are working. Can somebody help me!

Hi Kleo, is it possible to connect the SL-INF140 fans to Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280mm Rad (Non-ARGB AIO btw)? I know Lian Li does not provision the SL-INF140 fans with reverse blades. A pity!
Hi Lennard Low, welcome to my channel. It's not a problem to mount 2 x SL-Inf-140 on the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280 and to connect the FAN (PWM & ARGB) connectors directly to the specific motherboard headers without a uni controller. For most Arctic LF2, I will just plug the pump connector to a Pump fan headers and split the fans to another which is to the CPU_FAN header, but that's just my perference.
It looks to me as though the RGB lines on the front and back are much closer to the edge compared to the 120's, meaning less of a gap when connecting two or more fans.

Quick question I'm planning on running a push/pull with 6 of these on an h170i Elite xt and was wondering do you think I'd be able to run the 2 sets of 3 off the cpufan and cpuopt headers? Also would I be able to run the lighting portion through the L-connect box? I'm planning on 10 of these in a 7000d case and bought two L-connect 3 boxes for Infinity fans. Might also add 3 120mm reverse blades.
Hi Nucl3ar, welcome to my channel, yes you can do push pull configuration with 3 x fans on CPU_FAN and 3 x fans on CPU_OPT as I believe you are using an Asustek board and both are rated at 1A each on CPU_FAN and CPU_Opt. As for the ARGB effects, since you are using 2 uni controllers, yes you will be able to run both controllers on L-Connect 3 App, just make sure you have two USB 2.0 header on your motherboard.

What I was thinking is using one controller for the two sets of lighting for the aio fans, and then the second for everything else. I will also be running duel strimmer plus v2's (cpu/gpu) but they would have their own controller. Can you think of anything else seperate I would need to make this work? Any adapters I might need?

One thing I have always dreaded is thermal paste application. I've gotten good at it over the years, I usually just use the pea sized drop method. I really like your method here though, I may give it a try next time. Nice surface contact, using the drop and letting mounting spread the paste doesn't always give a great result, your method looks fail proof on the other hand. Thanks for showing me.

Nice! Please get some noise recordings of it for the next video. Even noise recordings that aren't useful for sound level comparisons are great for seeing what qualities the fan noise has, so they're always appreciated.

Can you use the 8-pin cable that comes with the SL120 INF with the SL140 INF? I see you have connected that in the video, but are you using a spare SL120 cable, or did one come with the SL140 as well, in addition to the split PWM/ARGB cable?
Hi Benjamin Le, welcome back, the 7 pin cable is from then 3 fan pack set of the SL infinity 120 or if you get the controller alone, it does come with it too. The SL infinity 140 only comes in individual pack and not 3 fan pack set and it only contains the split pwn and argb cable.

For the SL infinity 120, there are no issues to mount on the liquid freezer 2 as the daisy chain studs are removable and there will be no obstacles between the fan and radiator hose. Hi VARUN VERMA, welcome to my channel. the case does come with the JST03 3pin coverter, use that to connect to your SL Infinity hub, either sync 2 or sync 4, please note if you use sync 2, you will need to have SL infinity fans to plug in port 2, as the argb effect in sync 2 follows port 2. This apply to Sync 4 which follows port 4.

How many fans of those fan can you lock together. Because on the 120mm it can do 4, is it the same for the 140mm?

Can you use the 8-pin cable that comes with the SL120 INF with the SL140 INF? I see you have connected that in the video, but are you using a spare SL120 cable, or did one come with the SL140 as well, in addition to the split PWM/ARGB cable?
Hi Benjamin Le, welcome back, the 7 pin cable is from then 3 fan pack set of the SL infinity 120 or if you get the controller alone, it does come with it too. The SL infinity 140 only comes in individual pack and not 3 fan pack set and it only contains the split pwn and argb cable.

When you say on a separate port, what does that mean? I have my AIO Lian-Li Galahad II 360 Trinity SL-Inf plugged into port 1 of the controller. And my 3 lian li 140mm on port 2.
In the Lian li software, when I use 140mm, it goes back to 120mm after a while. I'm not sure why.
Hi Protect_Dreams, welcome back. what you did is correct. did you set the fan profile in L-Connet 3 app to 140mm? if you did, that should stay. I am not sure what happened to your app, you might want re-install the L-Connet 3app. use Revo uninstaller ( www.revouninstaller.com/ ). Revo uninstaller will remove all unwanted files / folder / registry in your system. Illustration to use revo uninstaller th-cam.com/video/uMgUYiakpxM/w-d-xo.html . Once done, you can reinstall L-Connect 3 app and test it out.

I press apply to all to put all my fans to the same value of RPM. Which brings everything up to date.

hello kleo, do you know if i can use the lian li infinity 120 fans on the arctic liquid freezer 360 instead of the fans of arctic that come with the aio. i saw your video about the other lian li fans tested with a arctic liquid freezer and now im worried it may have the same problem as the normal lian uni fans.
Hello sander rombout, welcome to my channel. For the SL infinity 120, there are no issues to mount on the liquid freezer 2 as the daisy chain studs are removable and there will be no obstacles between the fan and radiator hose. I am building a new pc with lian li lancool 3 rgb cabinet can i connect the 140mm rgb fans which is come with the case to lian li sl infinite controller can it effect the rgb of front fan. How to connect them to controller
Hi VARUN VERMA, welcome to my channel. the case does come with the JST03 3pin coverter, use that to connect to your SL Infinity hub, either sync 2 or sync 4, please note if you use sync 2, you will need to have SL infinity fans to plug in port 2, as the argb effect in sync 2 follows port 2. This apply to Sync 4 which follows port 4.

Hi mah M, welcome to my channel. If you have gotten the SL-Infinity 120 3 pack set, it comes with the controller and the controller have total of 4 cables. with an individual pack you can make use of one of the cables that is from the uni controller.
