    This was really loaded with beneficial info...the co-sewing space sounds great, I would love to get one in Abeokuta if they have a cylinder bed machine there. As regards suggestions on what you should make next, I would suggest a structured bag with a twisted handle.... That handle that looks twisted is the new cool,it would be nice thing to see a tutorial on it. Thanks for always dishing out value

      You can expand your reach with IG sponsored ads and focus on online sales. As long as you put up clear and crisp pictures people are more likely to interact with your page.

  • @elohorsamson4191
    @elohorsamson4191 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    okay quick question
    you talk about separating your finance, packaging.
    okay I deals with Ankara fabric mostly, because I do not have a sewing machine,that's why i make only Ankara bags.
    I'm planning of packaging it very well,like printing a business card, then buying some fancy things to make it look attractive, but each time someone want to patronize me they always bring the price down.
    And I do not know what to do, if I should package it well, it will cost more than what they are paying me , so how do I go about this. 😁😁

    • @TheErisFoundation
      @TheErisFoundation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      People tend to underprice when they know you personally. Two things you should focus on to boost your price range, is Branding and Quality......
      1)Give your brand a face lift; from your packaging to your logo and even down to your social media (ALL OF THEM), you need to create a feel to your branding. You can research on designers, brands and fashion houses that inspire and see what makes them tick.
      The main reason people would buy an Hermes Birkin bag is because IT IS A BIRKIN BAG, before they even look at whether it is fine or not and that is because Hermes created an idea behind the Birkin that not just anybody can own one..... That is how powerful branding is.
      2) Upgrade your quality and never stop upgrading. The secret is never stop learning! New styles! New trends!
      If Ankara is phasing out, switch to other types of fabric. Jacquard, upholstery fabric (sofa fabric) even Aso-oke
      Create your designs according to your current sewing machine and tool state.
      FINALLY, If you reduce your prices so you can sell more, you make less money than intended but if you sell at your fixed price you can get the same sales but with selling less bags.

      Hmm.... I only use top bond brand. Most of them are very similar apart from the colour of the gum, they all work the same.
