I managed a Vuitton store in the 1980's and was honored to have given a tour of this atelier. At that time it was managed by Mr. Patrick Vuitton, he personally gave us the tour. It was a great memory for me.

Because I need to change bags frequently for work, I chose them for attending important gatherings. The replica of *condupcom* gave me more choices, and it completely held up the scene. Everyone praised it for looking good.

We have a Louis Vuitton steamer trunk from the early 1900’s. My great great grandparents used it when they would travel via ship overseas for vacation. Amazing how long their products last.

What a beautiful language French is...love LV...it’s so expensive but you pay for quality and the beauty of the piece. I wish I would have bought some LV in Italy when I lived there...love it!

I appreciate the craftsmanship and the Artisans so much more than the fashion industry that flaunts LV products making them look cheap and tawdry. LV is an incredible brand with such high quality. It deserves more than to be treated like a status symbol by the haughty elite of the world.

I had the pleasure to visit Asnieres few years ago. I brought a hard side piece with me that was made at Asnieres and was able to take photos with artisans who made it. It was thrilling for me to be there to meet them and they were excited to see one of the hard side piece they made show up at the atelier.
Today I learned that Louis Vuitton actually manufactures their products by hand in France. Legally. Using adult labour.
This is wonderful news! I suddenly respect them a lot more.
Not everything is made like this, this is the couture side of LV, and has to be handcrafted in a atelier in Paris. Every from LVMH thats not couture are made in a factory
These are the classic LV trunks... Outside of Trunks, yes, mostly everything leather made is made in this same style. Spain, France, Italy and the US are the only places where LV produces their goods, ensuring quality and fair workers wages.

@@antoniohussey8936 I've actually WORK in it , NOW. Every single piece made by Louis Vuitton, is made and assembled in factories in strictly France, Italy, Spain, and the USA. The only exceptions are watches , which are made in switzerland, as well as some sunglasses which are made in Japan. That's it.

C'est un beau reportage et je trouve que le plus agreable a voir c'est le plaisir qu'on vois sur les visages des employés . Leurs motivation fait plaisir et le dernier interviewée montre une réel passion pour son metier et sa maison . Au debut ,Un ouvrier explique que Vuitton "invente" la lozine et le terme loziner .. Ils l'ont popularisé sans aucun doute et grace a eux , le grand public le connais .. mais ce n'est pas Vuitton qui a inventer la lozine .. la lozine est de la fibre vulcaniser de cellulose , en clair c'est du carton cuit .. et c'etais deja utiliser aux USA vers 1890 , sur les premieres malles wardrobe avant que Vuitton ne l' utilisent .. La lozine est plus resistant que le cuir , imputrescible et plus legere ...

I have three LV “babies” and another one on the way 💕 Two of my gags were made in USA and one made in France. The quality is the same, which shows that LV follows a very high standard no matter where their goods are manufactured. Hats off to the American artisans 👍

I wonder how the French employees feel about the new workshop opening in Texas. I also wonder if the products made in Texas will be stamped "Made in USA"?
Yes they will be stamped Made in the USA. Remember, TX isn't LVs 1st rodeo in America. Their 1st plant is in rural Cali. They're also artisan's creating bags in China & elsewhere. They said it on another video. So they are basically being made globally to keep up with the demand.
