Hello my dear. Great show. Just happened to bump into your channel. I have been doing leather craft since 1992, sewing all by hand- from wallets- belts- bags and other little projects in between. I'm thinking on buying myself a machine, and I'm looking at the sun special GA5 because I see what it can do, and also because it's within my budget. I would have loved to have a foot walker instead, but I don't see any within my budget. What are your thoughts on that? Would love to hear from you.

Hi Eris, you can buy a new thin walking foot set and bottom plate for your cylinder arm machine from amazon or aliexpress. Helped me alot.

Please can mini sewing machine be used for bag making .. am a biginner
Unfortunately, for professional bag making you need an industrial sewing machine but for lighter projects you can use the manual butterfly sewing machine or the Singer Heavy Duty electric sewing machine.

I make bags but I noticed the threads start loosening after using the bags for a while, especially hand bags. Any suggestion on what I can do?

To prevent your threads from loosening, you can backstitch a couple of times before going on to sewing the piece to secure the ends. Then after cutting your threads, you can burn the ends to secure them
