- Gravity Falls creative director and director of The Mitchells vs The Machines, Michael Rianda, recently revealed some juicy Gravity Falls secrets - include lost episodes, an alternate ending for Blendin's Game, and an alternate season 2 opener that featured Future Dipper and Mabel's Death! It ended half a decade ago. Think about that.
I like that they gave sos a win.
He was a great character and it's nice to see an alternative ending where he wasn't like his own father with his son.
I kinda wish that ending was canon.
All we see is that he runs the Mystery Shack, and slowly builds a relationship with his girlfriend. This alternate ending for Soos may still come to pass.

However parents do take traits from their parents for raising their kids.
My grandpa wasn't a good father to my mom nor my uncle when my mom had us four she was a better parent but some of my grandpa was in her and she did a few of things he did.
My sister is not like my mom when it comes to my niece but she is more forgiving whenever she doesn't something wrong like my mom was.
Parents take aspects from their own parents without even knowing it.
Soos's father barley being in his Life and sos being heavily involved in his child's life is already an improvement but it still is a procaution he needs to to take.

But he's definitely up there and he deserves a win like that alternative ending.

To repeat what I wrote last week: We need a Gravity falls sequel that's say 5 years later with the twins in college and they come back to Gravity Falls solving new mysteries and we could see how the town and their relationships have changed since the end of Season 2.

I love that the creators of Gravity Falls weren't worried to throw their freakiest ideas out there, whether or not they would traumatize kids like the bleeding animal heads because they knew that sometime in their future, those kids would come to appreciate this work of art and a real stepping stone in Disney's animated TV shows. We need more gems like Gravity Falls or Star vs The Forces of Evil.

There is also an unused episode idea where the twins, Stan and Soos go on a road trip and find this never ending road with a diner.
they enter the diner and find humans and creatures from a long time ago, the people explain that there is no end for the road.
they escape somehow.
Just hearing about these episodes that could’ve been almost made me cry; Gravity Falls is just so amazing and even without these I wouldn’t change anything about it

I wish we could’ve seen more Dipper and Ford bonding.
I wish we saw more Ford bonding with people in general.
I think that Toby dropped dead because he tried making a horror movie with a friend but they get into a fight about the movie and he either dies or something bad happens to him. Then a decade later a producer finds a script of the movie with the soul of the friend. When the movie ends the friend is freed and decides to kill Toby or just put his soul in another dimension. Then we see how dipper and Mabel get into an argument and the Watcher decides to haunt them through the movie.
I think Toby is too... "behind" to even think of a story without writing it on used paper.
Always wanted good shows like this to get their own movies like Naruto and Pokémon

Soos had a minor role in wierdmagedon, as far as I can remember he says he has been eating scraps. I was actually a bit disappointed since the slice of infinite pizza should have been mentioned.

(although I could see the story going from scary to a bit silly by showing that after Mabel reads the paper, she gets lost in her mind and accidentally forcefully knocks Dipper into a cabinet with red sauce and Blendin's time watch (for some reason). and then he goes back in time to warn them (again) or something like that)

What if the “future dipper” was added in to the comic book episode. Here me out: as they were made into hero’s, Dipper gets into an argument with Mabel, Dipper is upset and walk off in a rage. After 3 hours or so, they realize Dipper isn’t back. They go and look for him (Mabel kind of being forced to go.) they find him covered in blood and a creature standing over him, when Soos (wanting to feel helpful) runs up to him to help, and Mabel follows, feeling horrible and thinking this is her fault. They save him, but in the process Mabel dies. Dipper thinks that if he hadn’t overreacted about the fight, Mabel wouldn’t have died. He goes back in time. The “most important thing he need to tell his past self” is that he CAN NOT fight with Mabel, whatever happenes, it could be a 2 part episode of them preventing it and finding out what the monster was too!!! (Forgive me for writing this long essay)
Also forgive the grammar mistakes, it’s 12:30am and I’m incredibly tired, but there could also be another one where Dipper is basically Sara Berry (listen to “The Ballad of Sara Berry” if you don’t know what I’m talking about) but that also has loopholes in it so idk
well serious fan fic writers have a name for a new character and some ideas to work with.
at least we can say the gravity falls ended on a high note and the end doesn't make you feel empty like some show endings.

Let’s face it: Wendy was screwed over compared to the other “main” characters, and i think never getting a spotlight ep has led to the fandom sort of forgetting about her, too. But in the years after I quit the fandom and attempted to repress all memory of the show, she was pretty much the only part of it that wasn’t dead to me, thanks to the friends I made because of our love for her. And when I came back to it this year, she was the one I found I missed the most.

The alternate ending for Blendin’s Game was probably cut because it was too long. It kinda sucks because that sounds like it would’ve been a really cool ending, but the ending that we got makes sense too.

One thing I love about the show is that they write off Stanford's six fingered hands as a birth defect when it is in fact the dominant human trait. Meanwhile half of the main characters have four fingered hands.

An idea I had..
In the finale, they should have used a different opening for each part.
1st part would be the one we had.
2nd Part would be more mabel like, bright colors, clips of her dream world, etc. Using the ORIGINAL theme for the pilot that Lemon Demon made, since THAT would FIT that part.
3rd part would be the events being cleaned up, but also filled with action at points.

Dang that future dipper thing could have tied into that portal in Rick and morty that had the journal fly through maybe as if someone was doing some crazy thing like opening there own portal or time travel. It'd also explain why Rick hates time travel. Dang I wish this was cannon they could had sub plots of following future Dipper and then teased weird mageton with it, there were so many cool possibilities.

I JUST STARTED MY REWATCH A DAY AGO PERFECT TIMING!!!!!
I've got one reason for Mabel's death. After being corrupted in an episode by a magic that made her become more uncontrollable, agressive, goth and twisted in her fantasies as the season went on, Dipper tried to cure her, but in her insanity, she forced him to kill her. And the reason why she could never find out about what killed her, it's because finding out her parents were getting divorced and that's why they sent them towards Stan, would make her go see this "God of Love", who unlocked the final lock inside of her mind (the lock that kept her from justfying her gruesome actions in the name of her fantasy world), thus leading her to become those psychos who live in their twisted fantasies, with the only way to free her of her suffering being killing her.
This is how you know Gravity Falls is another one of the legends when it ended years ago yet people still talk about it
I swear every time I'm being reminded of all wendy center episode ideas not being aired I get depressed😫(hence why CodyLabs's fan fics are my favorites)
Sorry I'm late (damm notifications), but here is how we could fit these episodes in season 2's theme:
-In the season finale, we learn of Mabel and Dipper's eagerness to grow up, so to fit with Mabel's possibility to die, have us actually learn of this eagerness at the begining and have them explore it throught out the season. Also, have only Dipper learn of Mabel's destiny and keep secret from her;
-Wendy's episode's magic should work like this. The people at the dinner were actually people who, like Wendy, wished to be free, so they ran from home. However, because they knew they would never truly be free, one day, while they slept, a triangular being came to them and offered a deal. In return of cursing them to stay traped in a chaotic and funny place of their liking forever so they would never be found, they would promise to help him with a future event he was planing. They accepted, and thus the dinner was created. However, over time they grew insane because of the chaotic nature and the fact they couldn't leave unless they detected teenagers on the run, becoming violent and bizarre beasts who only wanted to find new, twisted and funny ways to have fun and corrupt the other teenagers they brought. In this episode, Mabel, who was eager with this trip because she knew this need for freedom was a teenager thing, because of her thirst for experiencing this teenager dark side, ended up being partially corrupted by the place before the dinner was destroyed, being convinced by the beasts there to start being a bit darker and more emo with her creativity, otherwise people would want to control her more and more as she grew up (this would be her first step towards the path of her death);
-I think the original ending for the time travel episode was perfect, I don't know why they thought the infinite pizza was a good idea.

Also, you know how Stanford wanted to go to his smart college, but Stanley didn’t want to be left alone. So he sabotaged it, not knowing it would completely ruin Stanford’s chances, this related to when mable lended the bill morph the rift, and the sabotage was made. And because the sabotage wasn’t good enough to fix it in Stanford’s times, it caused the same experience as the weirdmagadan, all the times Stanley’s been trying to get his brother back, through company’s, traveling, and crimes, with fake ids, and he was left with Stanford’s shack, so he took his identity to raise money to be able to fix the portal so he can get back his brother after his experiment went wrong. This relates to what the mable world bubble was and why it was created by bill, bill used to be worked up with gidian. They made deals, the fact that bill knew mable was important is why he accepted gidians offer, but gidian didn’t really know how powerful she was to the theme. The theme of this show is about the intelligence and the half of maturity, the troubles of the intervene of both. I can elucidate more if you have any questions. I’m an og fan and this is one of the top 6 shows I watch. I only watch 6 shows

Because Remakes, Reboots, Specials and OVA's exist,
its very clear to me that 'Alternate Timelines/Happenings'
are underexplored and it should be a common Thing
to do these for Franchises.
I call it a Mindset-Problem that this is barely a Thing.

Well you might be right about "what I wanted to happen" part but in some cases like AOT i belive most of the fans were disappointed in chapter 139. It just wrapped up like "f.. that job done" instead of giving it a propper closure. I think just extending it to chapter 140 after Erens death would do the series justice.
