Two of the number one questions I have been receiving from this video are, “do those prosthetic eyes help you see“, and, “ why are you blinking so much“? Let me answer those two questions for you... no, I am completely blind. I paid $8000 for these eyes and they don’t even work LOL. They are just for cosmetic purposes only. And to answer your second question... I was blinking so much in this video because my natural eyes were dry. My natural eyes do not produce a lot of tears, and that day the prosthetic eyes were sticking to my natural eyes. The blinking helps with tear production. By the way, this is pretty much the only video I receive these questions. Hope my answers to these two questions helped. ❤️

The left eye is really far up. Regardless of that though, you look so much more warm with brown eyes I find. Blue looks beautiful too, but for some reason brown eyes on you makes you look a lot more friendly.

My girls walked into the clinic where I had just received my brown eyes. My eyes were closed when they walked into the room. When I open them on the count of three, they basically fell right into me with tears in their eyes. It was like they got their old mommy back. My Georgianna looked at me and said, "mommy, you look like you can see me." That was all I needed to hear❤❤ I knew in that moment from then on I would always be a brown eye girl.

I just recently found you. I noticed you with Antonio. Your husband is so lucky to have such a beautiful woman inside and out to spend his life with. There was a girl where I worked that had green eyes. She said her real color is brown, but she wears contacts and had them tinted green. Well, man... she looks so sharp with those green eyes! It's amazing how much difference a person can look with different eye color and how they blend differently with their complexion. -- Atco

My friend had a prosthetic eye. Every few years, she'd have to go and get a new one because it would just get old and be uncomfortable. She didn't have an eye at all in that socket. I think in her case, she said the prosthetic itself degraded

Lolno. They are custom made and hand painted designed to look completely real. Its not some sort of mass produced thing. While I do think you can prob get them cheaper, she payed a great price for her eyes
Aimed2Kill I know, they could have sizes. But I wasn’t talking about that, I was talking about having the iris mass-produced, and then you go to a place and they measure your eye and cut a piece fit for their eye, made from silicone or plastic
The blue eyes look so beautiful on you. The way they contrast with your hair looks so pretty and they’re just the right amount of blue. Love your brown eyes as well!
Tyler Rankin yes, I know. :-) That's why I never wear them. They also are not as comfortable as my brown eyes. It's just fun to say I have another set that are in a different color.
I would assume that the only risk for infection would be a dirty prosthetic. She still has eyes, and I'd assume that there wouldnt be much of a change in risk of infection, but still, I don't really know. Just a guess.
I think that's minimized by the material they are made of. When she bumped them together they sounded like marbles, so that would mean glass. Glass is very easy to keep clean and sterile.

How do they feel resting against your real eyes?. My eyes are ultra sensitive, so the idea of something resting against them is enough to give me nightmares lol
pustulio81 They actually are not even noticeable most of the time. I apply gel lubricant eyedrops behind the scleral shells which make it more comfortable. The only time they bother me is when my natural eyes are dry.
Joy Ross Oh, wow, I didn't even think about a lubricating gel as a barrier. Learned something new, today, thank you!!. Like I said, my eyes are ultra sensitive, just putting eye drops in is an ordeal for me. I'm one of those people who you'll find laying flat on the floor holding his eye open with both hands while a friend tries to help by squeezing the bottle for me LOL

Like I said, my eyes are ultra sensitive, just putting eye drops in is an ordeal for me. I'm one of those people who you'll find laying flat on the floor holding his eye open with both hands while a friend tries to help by squeezing the bottle for me LOL
