What I like about your videos are the natural sounds we can hear, unlike so many You Tube hunting videos for rats to Dangerous game, where the video is spoiled by banal and unnecessary music when nothing surpasses the sounds of nature to hunters and outdoors people alike. Whilst I always dial up for elevation on those longer shots at crows and magpies, I simply aim off accordingly for the wind, once measured for direction and velocity with my kestrel. Not many people watching your videosm may appreciate that a crow denuded of its feathers is tennis ball in size and a magpie a gold ball, hence all the more impressive are your long range skills.
Starting to get a little concerned now TBH, your vids are easily the best on the tube for quality/content already - where can you go from here? Superb once again.

@simon6ppc246 Hello to David and Simon. I'm pretty sure you'll both be more experienced shooters than I am, though David's comment made me think. I just shoot 12ftlb air rifles. Yes, in summer, I hate the biting midges, too. In winter, I don't like the cold and have rechargeable hand warmers, amongst other things to stay warm. Summer is great, I'd say, because of our climate. However, with no leaves on the trees in winter, I find it much easier to track our prey. I haven't bothered with thermal spotters, yet. I just think our quarry should be given a fighting chance and personally, I'm not sure thermal spotters are for me, and are fair? Just my own opinion. I've nothing against other people using them. Simon you need some Wilmas Nordic Summer. Not expensive and it works a treat for keeping midges and mozzies at bay. I work outside all day and it even stops the Horse Flies
Morning Simon, I’ve a pulsar xq38 thermal spotter, 5yrs old but does what I want it to, mate has a Hikmicro condor, definitely a much better picture but tech moves on so fast these days. Older gear still more than capable of delivering excellent results. Look forward to the next video

Great upload mate. An old trick my grandad showed me was rubbing mint leaves on your face and hands. Used to do this when we went fishing as kids. Kept the midges and mosquitos away. 👍

Good stuff Simon, you worked hard for that Fox. The only thing that works for me against the Midge is Jungle Formula Tropical i use spray for my head gear and liquid for my head and hands…. But don’t get it in your eyes or on your lips. 😡🏴
We got an allergi medicine here in Sweden named Teldanex. Besides helping for allergies it reduces the mosquito bites dramaticly. I alwas got bitten more than everybody else, but this helps very much. You could ask your medicine man. Thanks for making my evening with a new film. Nice shooting !
Thanks for the video Simon, lucky crow. Yes those bugs have got a taste for the spray I'm using even though its a fresh can of the stuff. Interestingly the spec must have changed on the Alpex's as mine goes in up in 0.1's from 7 mag when that option is selected unless I'm missing something (probably)
Nicely done again Simon, sadly we all know how to do the walk of shame mate. There were some good sized nashers on that dog fox buddy, a good one to get.
Made me laugh, The walk of shame 😂 definitely not, accuracy 2nd to none, that 1st shot taken on that crow how it jumped into the air was so precise, I could hear in the background different birds calling, i definitely heard lapwing and that dog fox was a lovely specimen. Great shots Simon and great commentary as per and a fantastic set up to deliver perfect shots, great work my friend, loving the videos.
Can’t get enough of your beautiful work, and can almost understand your accent. Well done, and best of health to you. Curious - with your tech - there are some systems that help fight the biting insects - I use Thermacell for deer hunting from a fixed tree stand.

Hi Simon, your comments about vmax are interesting. My Sako 85 doesn’t seem a fan compared with Sako Gamehead. Last 2 boxes of vmax had a 50% failure rate, possibly duff primers, not something you expect from Factory ammo. At least they work for you keep up the good work.

Hi Simon, another great show, I see the flys getting a good feed, have you tried this stuff (AVON SKIN so SOFT original) it's dry oil spray, it's meant to be the best about, hopefully this helps.
As always, great shooting, Simon. I never knew crows would kill baby lambs before watching you I have learned a thing or two about these pest. I'm not around sheep, but the pest I get the most fun with is the wood chuck or better known as the ground hog. If you ever miss one he has your number. I use a 168-grain Berger bullet from my 300 win mag. Some of your shots may be 250 to 350 yards and then you have those out to 500 yards. I have a friend that hit one 915 yards that had shot and miss by other people. They have great vision. What they do is harmful is digging tunnels in the ground and cows break their legs and when it rains it causes erosion to the fields and there are no close season on them. Stay Stay Safe Sir 🙏

Great shooting simon was you using the PBir X illuminator? I use solaris srx but it doesn't open up enough it's OK on the Drone pro but not as good on the Alpex 4K.cheers

We use Avon “skin so soft” it works for us stops midges and mosquitoes from biting and it don’t stink, great vid and shooting Simon as always! 👌👍
