My lab Trigger is a carbon copy of your Jack. He's 13 and like yours doesn't do much these days. He's been a superb worker and family dog, I try to make allowances for his condition these days.

To be fair when i am filming i some times forget if i have loaded the rifle or not and end up double loading with the magazine so when i single load for some reason i don't forget i know it sounds daft

Hi Simon, I noticed you are single loading, I assume it's slugs you're shooting, what pressure are running the reg at? I have an Fac .22 Crown and have only just started to play with stretching it out with pellets, I have had a play with some slugs, but I need to start tinkering with the reg pressure I think to shoot these accurately. Fantastic shooting, give the dog Jack a biscuit from me... atb Rob.
Thanks Robert my reg is 119 but that's the King, i think with the crown i would try a 23 or 25 or may be a 27 grain slug as not sure if they just have the lungs for any thing really heavy at good speeds, but ye it should send them nice if you set it right.
Give Jack a pat and a tummy rub for us all. I’m starting to build a picture of scope adjustments at different ranges 15 to 100 yards with my fac air rifle. It takes time and patience 2 attributes I struggle with 😂 but worth it to get the clean kills you do. Great videos and advice.👍
Too bad you couldn't have Jack break in a new mate to hunt with. Some of the channels here in the USA have been doing long range shooting. X-ring is shooting a mile (1760yrds), Eric Cortina has the KYL (know your limits) target at 600yrds plays blackjack with points and Backfire does a varying shoot more hunting oriented with gallon milk jugs on T-posts. Backfire started his because of all the guys that said how good they are at shooting, so Jim (backfire) sets up a range to see if they can get "first shot hits at varying ranges. The reason I said this is, I think you would do really well at that especially since you get first round hits at 500 + yrds on birds! Too bad He wouldn't fly you in so you could give it a whirl! Of course He might! You took out that Magpie or Crow from 650yrds I've been watching since! Well good luck and take care, hope all is well and continues to be!

Love the channel. How do you know how many clicks and windage ? Hours testing at the range or some kind of calculator/app lol
I use both to be honest pal , but also i do a lot of testing with all my rifles

The Alpex 4k and first Alpex are both top scopes pal with the 4K being really good i use 2 these days
