Google it folks. Grenada allows firearms on board your boat as long as they are declared upon check in and kept in a secured place. Most countries have similar laws or more lax laws.
Capital punishment is a legal penalty in Grenada. Despite its legality, there have been no executions since 1978.[1][2] Grenada is considered "abolitionist in practice", and is currently the only country in The Americas in this category.[3] There is currently one person on death row in Grenada, as of August 30, 2021.[4] During its United Nations Universal Periodic Review on January 27, 2020, Grenada told the UN that it is a de facto abolitionist state with a de facto moratorium with effect since 1978, and that it will not carry out any executions.[5] Abolishing capital punishment in law was part of one of the amendments during the failed 2016 Grenadian constitutional referendum. Grenada voted against the United Nations moratorium on the death penalty in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016,[6] 2018, and most recently, in 2020.

My prayers are with you!
The usual suspects
Stay in America, people. There's plenty to see and do here. You'll never be 100% safe anywhere, but as of today our home country of the United States is pretty wonderful. Hope they're alright.
Waterways around the caribbean now contain people on rafts eager to get to the US. Cruise ships encounter them and hand them over to the CG. You don't want you and your spouse to have to deal with that.
Don't sail near the 3rd world. Very sad
A go fund me ? Ummmm….I’m sorry these people lost their lives but they own a yacht! Nice try though…..
Holy cow, I said the same thing, first time it was deleted. They look like nice people, no one deserves to die like that, but they'd been living a great life on that boat for 10 years, according to their kids. So sorry for their loss, but I don't have rent this month, soooo...
Any trip, any adventure must include fire power....we live in a world filled with stink animals
So SAd praying 🙏
Moral of this is don't go out on the water without a life jacket or a shotgun.
Don't help anyone on the high seas. Call to get help
No that’s not the moral, that is your opinion
Google it folks. Grenada allows firearms on board your boat as long as they are declared upon check in and kept in a secured place. Most countries have similar laws or more lax laws.
No one is safe anywhere anymore 😢 Can't even go have fun in a sailboat ⛵️
Prayers from St Louis Missouri
The high seas are extremely dangerous! Boats get high jacked all the time even cruise ships. Pirates got one cruise ship like a few years back.
My Prayers with your family.
The safer alternative is just get on a big cruise liner. Sailing on the ocean as a couple in a small boat can make you an easy target.
Grenada voted against the United Nations moratorium on the death penalty in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016,[6] 2018, and most recently, in 2020.
nasty people right there
Yeah, the bandits didn't seem very nice, either. I'm sure Biden will help get them back!
I WILL NEVER GO TO THE CARRIBBEAN!!!!
It unfortunately can happen here in the states also.
@@MW-on1ftgo look into it. Violent crimes are far more likely to happen in nonwhite areas.
This is unacceptable!! Those 3 convicts responsible must be held accountable accordingly 😠
That's very sad. I pray answers come for their children
You work so hard and get a chance to live out your dreams in retirement, then tragedy. All my best wishes to the family and for sure still hold out hope that they are somehow found and rescued.
I’m so sorry 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO HAVE A ''WATCH'' WITH A FIREARM IN HAND..TOUCH SENSORES FOR WHEN THE ISLAND ANIMALS TRIP THE ALARM, YOU CAN ''FIRE AWAY''
Sad but they went out doing their dream so be happy for every sec of joy they shared and let God take care of the rest. Blessings to the family.
