i dont know. am i the only one seeing it? its like he's a fake "nice guy" who's really an asshole. if a man just lost just let him be. dont shove your hand shake to his face and be all "nicey nicey" and get upset and be like "i wonder why he wont shake my hand" *shrugs*
A martial that starts with both competitors falling on their butts and scooting towards each other. BJJ has to give out more points for throws. It just looks ridiculous.
If you are in a martial art and you care about how it looks, go do some dance haha not supposed to look good
@@gaia8840 def sounds like you never competed nor fought either in ring or outside scooting on your butt its not that it doesnt look cool its just not practical in real life some loser trys to but scoot will get a teep kick to the face or crotch stomped on thats the reality bjj went from looking realistic and capable for real combat which is more exciting and closer to simulated combat to being a leg lock bs leg locks can be super exciting and cool just look at phlares lol even with his leg breaking he had it all great takedowns good game all around not just some lame leg lock stuff
@@rockzen8050 What you just said is just saying bjj changed and you don't like it...Martial arts are no made to be realistic, if that was the case there would be no rules
@@gaia8840 uhm ... martial ART ... tf you on about?
@@gaia8840 Combat sports aren't realistic, WHATEVER THIS GARBAGE IS ISN'T REALISTIC, martial arts ARE meant to be realistic ... we're a far cry from the jutaijutsu of old
Malfacine chorão ! da-lhe Musumeci
Average fight fan watching this match: "WTF, this was so stupid. Nobody did anything"
Anyone with BJJ experience: "Holy shit, what a chess match! So much skill on display!"
you mean new BJJ guys alot of hold heads dont do leg locks, that being said bjj has gotten so damn boring with the leg lock game that slap BJJ came out , that being said plenty of great Leg fighters that are super exciting but those who dont watch any bjj and see this will just say ...why doesn't he punch the guy going for leg locks lol it just isnt good in a real fight look at Ryan hall and how he got smashed going for leg locks that how it looks when you fight going for leg locks against a trained opponent it only works super high percentage with folks who never train leg locks
@@rockzen8050 I disagree. and ryan hall has really a good resume, he may have got stopped by illia but hey that's the fight game its 50/50.
and that's why normal people don't take jiu jitsu seriously
2:24 as someone doesn’t watch too many bjj matches, this is some funny sxxt
Lmao the hand thing was childish but also hilarious
i want to see how good the ref would last against then
nothing like the double sit xD
sweep at 8:30 is awesome
The struggle continued with words after the match haha
not Bruno's fault Musumeci has no skin lol
Mikey is one of those guys after he beats you up will offer his hand to help you up.
"beats you up" lol
Can anyone explain the penalty towards the end for Mikey?
Stalling
That doesn't make any sense
@@ElijaihBlue why?
@@vibovitold@vibovitold from 10:13-10:35 in the video he was actively trying to pass. Then after attempting to stack Bruno slide out of bounds posting the back of his head to the mat. How can that be stalling, it was given after they were reset. The last penalty was 100% stalling but fair enough it was 15 seconds left it was smart, I just don't understand the previous one.
@@ElijaihBlue yeah, ok - you wrote "the penalty towards the end", so it was clear to me that you meant the one given right before the end of the fight. not the previous one, which was in the middle of it (5 minutes left on the clock).
i agree with you that the FIRST penalty seems incorrect.
the rule says it's a foul "when a standing athlete pushes his/her opponent to outside the match area without clear intent of attempting a submission or scoring."
but in this case it was clearly part of a guard pass attempt.
Mikey is literally a beautiful human being.
gay
@@SINdaBlock411 good job. That’s the first step.
@@M.Angelo312 what, being gay lol I guess the ride ends before it even began then lol
@@SINdaBlock411 it’s all up to you. I’m not here to judge you.
7:42 is it normal to kick the face like that though?
Yeh, that was completely intentional. I missed it until you pointed it out. Glad Mikey won.
Guys It was not a kick, for sure it wasn't a soft move but don't tell me a pressure pass is not worst than this !
not a kick but a forceful repositioning of the foot. you have to understand this is black belt level. there's no sugar coating on this level.
Just like a nice cross face that rubs the eye balls out the socket 🤙
Are these guys all juiced up like Gordon Ryan?
everyone except pizzadork here lol
Mikey squints alot like me. He's probably almost blind without his glasses...and he still kicks everyone's arse hahaha
only those he knows he can beat
I think he didn't shake his hand because Mikey didn't let go immediately after the tap. You can see Bruno going wtf?
There was no tap, the clock ran out and he won on points.
He let him go at 00:00 exactly what you talking about?
another entry to the Big Book of Excuses
?
Mikey was sticking his hand in his face. I get it. Like, get away for a couple seconds. Let me cry for a min. Imagine knocking someone out then sticking your hand in their face like "c'mon, what's your problem?"
no use, autistic people can't fathom empathy
He fake combed his hair 🤦♂️..
Why does Mikey have such short sleeves?
not the only thing about him that's either short ... or missing :)
I'm sorry but as an instructor and role model that was a bullshit move from Bruno's. Yes he got beaten but no need to act like a kid.
He was not beaten, the score was 1 x 8, he was rude, and he had an unsportsmanlike spirit, that's all ... Even the opponent is much stronger
@@LaudaCosta the ref lifted Mikey's hand therefore Bruno lost.
@@paulfarley9055 - Losing doesn't mean you were humiliated, losing is the game, but if you don't know the difference, it's unfortunate
@@LaudaCosta not at any point did I say he was humiliated...I said he had a bad attitude.
@@paulfarley9055 - I'm glad you didn't delete it, and there will be time to read what you wrote yourself. You said that Bruno was beaten, who was beaten, was humiliated! And he was not beaten, unfortunately his anger is greater than his common sense. Unfortunate !!!
Naw that fake hand shake to hair brush had me ☠️
hilarious rite lol
