    Summary of the video:
    1. Take some days to think about the offer. Understand the math behind their numbers. Are you a junior or someone with some experience ? How is their structure ?
    2. Understand the market value. Know the low and high value. Dont increase huge steps. Keep it less than 10%. Know how the performance is measured.
    3. Is there a trial period after which the salary can be increased ?
    4. Is there some other additional benefits that can be obtained ? Can a relocation package be obtained ?
    Very useful tips. Thanks a lot !

    @meetra is it also ok to discuss the EU Blue Card requirement while stating our expectations in the negotiation?

    How about asking what is the budgeted amount for that position?

    • @HalloGermany
      @HalloGermany  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, I would rather recommend to set a clear expectation. If you ask about the budget, it could put you in a weaker negotiation position and also be interpreted negatively, as it could mean that you haven't looked into the job or the company enough beforehand.

      @@HalloGermany Thank you for the answer! I guess negotiation techniques are quite different from the American style. I will adapt.
