It means you can save 1.2 lakh to 1.89 lakh in inr If you add cost of India travel which is 70k + other expenses You will lost another 2 lakh And if you travel within Europe that will eat more of your savings
I think one usually travels to India once a year and the savings that I am talking is monthly savings. Also, I have shared my experience and one has to check for oneself if it actually makes sense for them as each one of us would have our own way of living. :)
Thank you for your kind words. I am happy to know that you found value in the video. Please feel free to share to someone who might be looking for this information.
As a single person doing masters and then getting a job with a salary of 50k , how much he/she can save if we consider he or she will visit once a year?
When you are single and your salary is €50k then your net salary that comes and sits in your bank account by the end of each month = €2,691 One can have a decent life with €1k to €1,6k per month (depending on the lifestyle and city). Which means one can save about €1k to €1,3k per month. Flight to India can cost somewhere between €600 to €1000 for both to and from.

You’re totally right about saving taxes as a family. Even just being married already brings a lot of tax savings if your partner has a much lower (or zero) income. That is nice, but has the negative incentive of keeping one spouse at home.
I'm a student with wife and a kid back in India, How can I change tha tax class from 1 ? Will it only be after the child and marriage certifications are recognised and they arrive ?
Thank you for your comment. Yes, you can only change the tax class once your wife and kid come to Germany and they are registered in Germany. I hope this information helps.
Thanks man, Great video. Can you make a video (or just reply in comment) talking about the level of happiness/peace as a student-a fresh graduate with below average salary- to at 50-60k salary and now at your current stage. I know its a deep question but actually I have heard and seen many people become all miserable in Germany during or after their studies. I myself will hopefullly be coming there in summer 24 for masters.
Thanks a lot for your question and I am sure I will make a video about it. If you want to know why I promote living in Germany or for that matter living abroad, you can watch this video of mine: th-cam.com/video/7jjRX-jmyTo/w-d-xo.html To answer your question on if I would still choose Germany, it is yes and that is the reason why I am still living in Germany as well. For me, things that matter are the most peaceful life, fairness in society, stress-free living, social security, good nature, and a stress-free visa procedure. This is what Germany is providing me and has provided me. I have not come to Germany to become rich or to save a lot of money. What I have noticed is that the immigrants who come to Germany to make great money are the ones who get disappointed. This is not the country to get rich, this is the country to have a quality life and a well-secured and peaceful life. With regards to salaries, one can have a very decent life even with €30-35k salary. In fact, the German average salary is around €45k. If you are earning €60k+ then maybe you are in the top 20-25% of the German population.
