I dont know exactly why i love Hindley but this final climb was one of the most hype moment of the season for me. Super happy he had his revenge from the 2020 giro
Evidence that it's the tension of two equally matched competitors that's the most interesting part of watching cycling! I would rather watch the "B" leaders fight tooth and nail than see Pogla ride away from everyone on stage 2 and kill the race
It's a shame Hindley isn't back this year, but I guess all the TT kms would have counted against him. He should have a good go at the tour, and be a decent shout for a podium.
He was 7th and won a stage. A Hindley with the form off this Giro (and stronger now because he's 27) can ride a podium. Roglic should really improve if he want to be GC leader. Bora will probably decide after 1 or 2 mountain stages who will be the main GC contender.
I listened to Hindley on Mitch Docker’s podcast and he said that the cameras missed it but Carapaz did actually put in a big attack and it was when he stopped that Hindley came over the top of him and broke away.
How does this years Stage 19 and stage 20 compare to last year's? I feel like this year's stage 20 mountain TT is going to be crazy, but so is this year's stage 19.
if I understood it right in their podcast preview to the giro, there won't be any highlights? would be sad and i might be wrong but that is how it sounded to me.
Best resting pain faces in cycling history? Hugh Carthy has to be in the conversation along with Cadel Evans. You can/could never yell if they're fresh or in the red. Who else?
Trek have a major issue for remainder of season and next. It's very clear both Longo borghini & sprat are past their sell by date..in every respect and need to defer to Realini.
I feel like this sport would attract so much more people if there was a live display of wattage/cadence/speed of the riders. Just watching guys spinning isn't something one can watch for hours..
I think this finish is a bit overrated tactically. Hindley was just better than Carapaz on this finish. Kämna was a nice psychological help, but draft is minimal on steep ramps like this. BORA did a good job, but winning with the strongest rider is never gonna convince me like tactically setting up an inferior rider to beat a better one
That’s pretty funny. If Carapaz won, you wouldn’t make that comment. But Hindley whipped Carapaz’s arse so hard he couldn’t sit for a week. Great GT victory and well deserved.
Men his mechanic where I done my tests and so on for getting the perfect position had his pink jersey framed in. Qnd he rides with a size smaller, and it allready looked like a kids shirt. Give this guys some credit. They really can't be eating much (without training I mean) I was like wtf!!!

Plus it showed 2020 Giro was in fact very legit. Tao was the biggest winner of last year.
Bro me neither but for some reason i just fucking love hindley
That moment Kamna appeared was epic
Kämna even got behind Carapaz and then drove up to slow him down again. Great Job
As a Bora fan watching this stage live will probably be one of my most cherished moments ever.
I hope Kämna will do a good job as a captain!
I watched stage 20 live, LR's recap video at the time, LRCP, and the /r/peloton thread but here I am.
Too bad we can't get 1995 analysis anymore.
That was just amazing, still gives me watery eyes watching it a year on 🇦🇺
Thanks LR 😍
aussies 🤝 germans waiting for this video
This was so good live. What a move.
Probably my second favourite moment as an Australian cycling fan
@7:45- what sets @LR apart and why we keep coming back- the observation about the Bora fan on the side of the road. Class.
This was legendary stuff. Was jumping in my seat, perfect setup by Bora & well played out
I just love Hindley as a rider and this video filled my heart, thanks!💖
And when you are totally cracked the domestic who did you over is going to sit on your wheel, also a textbook cycling strategy.

Zero chance of podium.
@@lamf4846 Yeah he deserved that giro win so much but he's just so inconsistent
he is currently the leader of the GC after stage 5
@@lamf4846 3rd with a 1:40 gap...

honestly last year's giro was such a banger!
Will you be able to do stage analysis videos for this years Giro?
CANT WAIT!!!
The rouge dog makes my day again. Nice recap.

A classic stage
You are killing me with the merchandise teasers....
Do you have Giro footage rights this year?

When will you join GCN as a commentator?
Team Bora 🆚 Carapaz

It's a shame that Jai is not defending the Giro this year!

Juanpe's under pressure 😅😅
Do a vid on what happened to nairo
The Ineos DS botched this up
Billy underperformed.

Did Novak crash his face? It looks broken.
Is Bohemia even a country?? 😂
Worst Giro winner ever.

can you elaborate on that?
