Would this be a good L mount equivlent to my Lumix MFT 12- 35 2.8. I want to get the new S5 MIIX later this year and the MFT 12-35 is what I use 90% of the time
Thanks for the video. I've been thinking about getting one 2nd hand. This lens is really inexpensive if you consider that there's hardly any focus breathing and it's parfocal.
@@KevinMullarkey Absolutely, the SRP is steep. However, I found one on the used market for half the retail price on Buyee. So this could be within reach for ppl wanting this lens. As for the lens itself, I find there are downsides. It doesn't go well with a gymbal because of the zoomy bits hanging out the front. Images are clincially clean with unremarkable flares and auto focus is poor at 105mm. But if you shoot run and gun style and rack focus manually, the 24-105 is a perfect lens. It's now my #1 go to lens for video work.

Why compare price to the Sigma 24-105mm Canon mount? There is no L-mount version
Because if you have the l-mount to ef adapter you can use the sigma. I use a ef sigma 150-600mm and it works flawlessly on my S5

If you consider £1259 'inexpensive' for a medium zoom lens
