I listened to this song the day this album was released - and here I am again watching and listening. Andy's solo albums are friggin fantastic. His combination of tasteful melodies and shred are unmatched (in my opinion). All his music is absolutely worth you time!

No one beats Andy on a technical level.
He's simply the best today.
What shout Guthrie? And alternate picking Both Gilbert and Petrucci are still considered the top dogs generally.
There might be a few. Manuel Gardner Fernandez, Jason Richardson, Ichika Nito, Tim Henson, plus some lesser known guys like Tramaine Jonathan. But at a certain point technique becomes less important than musicality, and this guy has that in spades.

Polyphias guitarist on a technical level is ahead of this. Do I like it better though? Nah Andy is better.

Andy James is so incredible, and really the only instrumental guitarist that I never get bored of listening to. He has the ability of creating melody in his songs, just such an amazing musician.

He's my favorite too but then I listen to the other guys like Angel Vivaldi ,and the other guys and get reminded how good they are too! I'm just glad that TH-cam allows us to see all the shredders we want!\m/..(I'm also "hooked" on those Josh Middleton Kemper profile bundle demos...that thick guitar sound and playing...\m/)
My favorte thing about his music is how the words are replaced by these beautiful riffs and they still feel like vocals. This dude is majestic as fuck on a guitar.

One thing I love about Andy is; there's no wasted moments. Everything is efficient. He doesn't try to be overly impressive for the sake of displaying his technique, he delivers incredibly thoughtful sound consistently and that to me is better than him trying to convince me he's the most talented guitarist out there, even though I believe he is regardless.
I just love Drifting the moment with these instrumentals,simply a massage to the ears/Mind/Body and Soul,I could never get tired of this Style,it's Dynamite in my Universe>>I love the FX of what his hand looks like playing and I call it "The Spider Racing The Fret Board"

I discovered Andy just 20 minutes ago .. I grew up in the era of Yngwie ,Gilbert , Vinnie Moore , George Lynch , Petrucci and EVH .. This gentleman is absolutely amazing . He can shred , Many can .. but to be able to play with emotion .. That is the essence of music .. I might have found my newest favorite .. I must explore more ..

Man this guy is absolutely incredible. I have been watching playthroughs all night and my goodness. Has to be the most perfect blend of technical prowess and emotion that I have heard in....maybe forever. I am telling friends and can't decide what songs to send them for their first time lol. Mine was after midnight, still probably my fave but not a single piece is bad. At least a part of every one of his songs catches me right in the feels. Thank you Mr. James for making the world a more beautiful place with your music.

TH-cam algorithm just recommended me you. So far all your songs are ridiculously good. A motif I am noticing is unbelievably uplifting melodies. The choruses I've heard so far are usually a basic Swedish-esque soaring melody. LOVE IT!

What i find unreal is that Andy plays with a super high action what makes a better tone but compromises the ability to go fast. And yep. He can go fast. Great job. Wonder if was medium to low action. He would run a guitar at speed of light
