Dani wasnt an elite defender, but he was a good defender. No shot Cafu was better attacker. Barca has their best collective defense ever, and is back in Pot 1 for first time in 4 seasons including this one. The only reason i think they dont have realistic chance is bc theyre playing in a 47k seat stadium not in heart of city.
You never watched Cafu. Cafu was a better all around attacker and just a better all around full back. His big advantage over Dani Alves was his crossing ability, which added a whole other dimension to an attack. Outside of attackers, Cafu is possibly the Brazilian in the last 30 years.

I think Barca will get slaughtered if they meet this current City squad. All Pep teams have been brilliant in terms of attack but the current team is probably the best Pep team of all time in terms of defence. That is a very scary proposition. I think Barca will get slaughtered if they meet this current City squad. All Pep teams have been brilliant in terms of attack but the current team is probably the best Pep team of all time in terms of defence. That is a very scary proposition.
