All contract talk. He has had an absolute stinker today. Conor Bradley nearly scored and played unbelievable again for the 10 minutes on the pitch. Watching Trent today, he looked like he would only cost £20M. His attitude has stunk for a long time despite playing well. He walks around like he’s won 10 Balon d’Or’s. Thought this for a long time. Trent’s so talented he can get away with very mediocre effort a lot of the time, but even games like West Ham last week, where he had a goal, generally played pretty well, watching him closely his attitude sucks. Strolled round the pitch for the large majority of the game, quite a few lazy passes. Feels harsh criticising him but it’s annoying he can’t put more effort in sometimes.

No point carrying him, or forcing him to stay. I've seen some horrendous comments aimed at him the last few days/weeks, what happened to YNWA? The club is bigger than all the players, so if he wants to go, let him go and get in a replacement. We don't own him indefinitely. I think at this point now after today's performance, a discussion needs to happen with him and the club. It’s mainly caused by Jürgen leaving last season because the players obviously wanted to sit the situation off and see what the new manager has to offer etc. otherwise I think contracts would have been sorted earlier.

Trent was facing at times three players for most of the match; Fernandes, Dalot and Martinez. TBH, my biggest concern is who will be Bradley's understudy next season, and who will replace Robertson (ideally this window) ? TAA is an excellent player going forward but would attract a lot more criticism for his defence if Robertson wasn't there to take most of the heat. Give VVD and Mo new 2 year deals, which will buy LFC time to get quality replacements, Bradley is a better defensive option than TAA and will mean less defensive hand holding by others.

All contract talk. He has had an absolute stinker today. Conor Bradley nearly scored and played unbelievable again for the 10 minutes on the pitch. Watching Trent today, he looked like he would only cost £20M. His attitude has stunk for a long time despite playing well. He walks around like he’s won 10 Balon d’Or’s. Conor Bradley busts his ass both forward and back. Trent does not do that. Until he sorts his attitude out and discovers some desire again, I’d be playing Conor Bradley
Thought this for a long time. Trent’s so talented he can get away with very mediocre effort a lot of the time, but even games like West Ham last week, where he had a goal, generally played pretty well, watching him closely his attitude sucks. Strolled round the pitch for the large majority of the game, quite a few lazy passes. Feels harsh criticising him but it’s annoying he can’t put more effort in sometimes.
@ before quality comes hard work and effort. Milner is the prime example of that. He was never the best of players but he always found a way to get into the team because of his work rate. Trent has so much quality that he gets protected. His defensive work has improved, however his work rate and desire to clean up his own messes are a disgrace. That is my final straw with him. You won’t hear any of the Liverpool media crucify his performance today because they’ll be scared it will influence him leaving. If he goes and plays like that in Madrid, they’ll destroy him in the media. Just all round disgraceful attitude from him.

The club is bigger than all the players, so if he wants to go, let him go and get in a replacement. We don't own him indefinitely. I think at this point now after today's performance, a discussion needs to happen with him and the club. Absolutely. Sturridge was spot on and I think that was what is making many on here and Carragher unhappy.
Trent was facing at times three players for most of the match; Fernandes, Dalot and Martinez. It's a little unfair to say he can't defend when Man Utd's plan was to overload him, so he was always out of shape because of that. And once Garnacho came on Trent was nowhere near he was out paced clearly. And it worked masterfully.
I blame Slot for the first time ever for not spotting this and fixing it earlier.

I think I understand what Cara is saying. TBH, my biggest concern is who will be Bradley's understudy next season, and who will replace Robertson (ideally this window) ? TAA is an excellent player going forward but would attract a lot more criticism for his defence if Robertson wasn't there to take most of the heat. Give VVD and Mo new 2 year deals, which will buy LFC time to get quality replacements, Bradley is a better defensive option than TAA and will mean less defensive hand holding by others.
