- Prince William makes a speech at the memorial service in France to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Amiens - a major turning point in the First World War. The Duke of Cambridge will be joined by French President Emmanuel Macron, Mrs May and descendants of the soldiers who fought in the battle.

He does his country proud. Wherever he goes he shows such respect and dignity. He's also a very eloquent speaker. His grandmother, The Queen, has been a great mentor. And of course his Mother as well.

Sandra Martin That I do not know. I don’t think Charles will be a bad king; he’s had a great tutor, his mother.
He’s much more progressive though, but I think he appreciates what the monarchy represents and will be respectful of that. I remember years ago, people would mock him because of his views of organic farming. Now, it’s very commonplace all over the world, and he is a pioneer of it.
Hopefully, Charles, then William will both leave a good legacy for Prince George and any future monarchs.

Ken Mensack .. I agree. I can understand why people eagerly want Prince William as King. He's so impressive! But, it's very evident that he loves his dad, and looks to Prince Charles as the next King. I foresee Prince William assisting Charles however he is called upon during Charles' reign, as William would receive the Title Prince of Wales when Charles ascends the throne. It's this kind of respect the two have for each other that will lend itself to a successful reign by both men when their time comes.
