The tiny light is because the LiDAR doesn’t work correctly with a bright light so make sure to turn off the bright light before the bed leveling and initial tests are done
Hi, I have a Bambu X1C on order and the first thing I was going to do was add a brighter light! Thanks for the info!!!
I have to turn off my ceiling lights otherwise I get LIDAR errors. not such a big deal and after the whole LIDAR thing I can turn it back on.
Good looking out. I knew this but most people don't spend the time to read before they start using things.
You beat me to it. Once I heard her say about the light being so little, came straight to the comments to say it's because of the lidar. Haha
I was wondering why I didn’t see that on my x1c, good to know!
My gosh this seems like the most advanced 3D printer ever!
It pretty much is. You can do everything it does manually with other printers, but this comes with everything set up for super cheap. Very impressive
1600$ for a printer this advanced is such a good price
It's not really
It's the best consumer level fdm indeed
It’s the best consumer level printer. Just about perfect in every way other than ability to modify. But not many mods would even be needed
"Ludacris Speed"...
I see you're a printer of high culture.
That ludicrous speed option has me rolling 😂
you need to see it printing in ludicrous, it can print a benchy in under 15 minutes!
Spaceball The 3D Printer
Hopefully they don't go plaid
In ludicrous mode it can print the whole spaceball one in 10 minutes (for those who don't understand it's a joke)
After about 30 minutes on the internet looking at this thing, I’m jumping in the car and driving to microcenter
I regret not buying a X1C during the Black Friday sale.
Don't turn the extra light on until after the calibration...it will affect the calibration.
What light did you add on to the printer ? Getting my X1C this week i hope.
I pre-ordered the Carbon X1 a couple of weeks ago. They're supposed to start shipping them out mid December.
Just got mine this week, still figuring it out, but so far great
Where did u get urs from
@@MilkcafeCo I ordered my from Bambu, now they have retailers selling in the US. Microcenter for one.
This whole thing is ludicrous.
Part 2 (I hate it when I have to go looking for them)
th-cam.com/users/shortsz1eZnByMq9s?si=JcCYfCA2OZex_iUx
Where you get that light ?
I don’t get why adults print toys. Like a lot of TH-cam 3d print channels have toys on shelves in the background. They just print a bunch of toys and look at them? Adults do this?
I’m curious to how long that would take with say prusa MMU or with your pallet3 pro thanks
Prusa prints about about 45-100(rarely)mm/s. the X1C at standard speeds is about 200-300mm/s not including accelerations to 10000mm/s
Multiply the print time by 3-5x
@@No0o0o0o0o0 The X1C can actually reach acceleration speeds up to 20000mm/s^2
@@aandc_0 Yup it can reach 20k mm/s accelerations but standard speeds are around 10k. So you would either need to change them in slicer to turn on ludicrous mode. Still tans the hide of the prusa machines
Oooooo! Me likey the light! Please tell us how you installed it. Thanks!
I just ordered the P1S bundle, cant wait to test it.
I absolutely LOVE mine! Got it in the mail yesterday after waiting for like 6 months and it is AMAZING! The AMS system is absolutely perfect! It’s the best 3D printer made !!
6 months???? That's insane! I ordered mine about a month ago and got it 4 days later.
I just watch one video of yours on YT and now even my tiktok feed is flooding with your content.
This isn’t tictok
That's going to poop...a lot. You'll probably have more filament in poop than the model.
These printers are magic..... I love mine. It has a few annoying errors it like to do, but its still worth it!
Honestly 10Hrs for one flat toy is not impressive.
The reason behind the darkness is the lidar, you should not use that light there
Why you chose that horrible model among the many more available in multicolor...ugh
Run it at max speed
If your going to run it at standard you might as well have bought a A1
that's quite advanced for a consumer printer.
As well as low reflectivity, a surface angled such that the energy is not directed back to the sensor also makes an object harder to detect; another factor is background “noise”-that is, light from sources other than the lidar beam, such as the sun or bright artificial lights that can swamp the reflected beam, making it difficult for the lidar to detect the true range.
80 grams of the object and 250 grams of poop….
I want to know about that alien file to print.
Sounds like the girl from wicked makers
dang that's fancy as heck! I unfortunately got a atomstack 3d printer about 4 months ago and it's already crapped the bed, freezes upon startup.. so in the market for something that is reliable!
Which lights and controller
What extra light is that? Love it
I have a p1s (basically a cheaper version of this printer) it is by far the best printer I have ever had.
I just ordered 2 of them , can't wait to get stared on them.
How much energy consumer for 1 item?
How expensive is this printer?
$1500
and no result! I don't like the shorts!
what light is that?? any link is appreciated thanks
A year later and no one here knows what light this is 😂 HELP US OUT OP
Tiny light is to help lidar do its job.
$1,400 printer. Looks neat, but steep price.
Jeez Louise... Agreed
Well worth the price if you are serious about printing. Nothing else comes close for the price if you print multicolors, multi materials like carbon fiber nylon, PC with enclosure.
It's worth the money though if you use it regularly, prints on average 5x faster than my modded ender 3s with way less headache
Link to light?
Litufoto r6r
Could be that it’s another one. Because the r6r is to short I think maybe you look at litufoto for another version. Maybe r6
Is this good for printing masks?
Does the LiDAR work properly with the extra lighting turned on?
Yes, a lidar uses monochromatic light of a very specific wavelength.
No
What light setup did you go with ?
Where is link to this product
So frustrating I would love to have one of these, but I can’t say I have any complaints about my Creality Ender 3 S1. I can’t help thinking of all the possibilities…… love the channel and the videos don’t stop please There are two ridiculously informative and helpful to go without.
Horrible client service... I paid the printer a few weeks, sent them an email for VAT return... didn't get any answer back or any printer so far... when I get the printer I hope that I won't need any services from them with this response time...
I believe the limited light has something to do with the lidar. I believe excess light can cause incorrect measurements.
So it does the harmonic resonance and pressure advance test before every print? Why?
It only calibrated the PA for 1 filament as well.
I mean it's great it can automate that stuff but it's not implemented very well.
How do i get it shipped to the us?
print the colors only on top layer or in pieces by objectto be so much faster
The multicolour prints are tediously slow
How did you get one?
10h for that is crazy my x1 could do it in 3h on normal speed just got done with a 8hr print that is about 30x the size of that with abs
Landfill print. Printing for printings sake.
Its probably dark BECAUSE of that calibration method, and the light jacks it up 😂
Seems like the Telsa of 3D printing with the different mode names
Too bad they dont ship to APO. Been jumping through hoops on a way to get this here to my location!
Fast... 10 hours later...
Does filament stay dry in the enclosure?
There's spots for silica gel balls/packets
PLA stays dry period. I left all my spools in the garag for 4 years and they print just as good as when I opened them. Don't fall for this wallop of drying PLA.
Does this happen on th p1p
Doing some research before buying this.
Do you recommend this printer for beginners or intermediate experience? I’m looking at one and don’t know if I should pull the trigger or not.
And I thought my ender 3 was cool 💀💀
Too much light will throw off the LIDAR sensor.
They only added the tiny light because to much light would affect the LiDAR scan
Please provide links for light and color AMS? Thanks In Advance
That thing is probably worth every cent... Or it's weight in gold
Ну и хрень вы печатаете
Dus it only use standard bamboo filament or can I use any brand of PLA etc.?
Which LED bar are you using? Any issues with using the LED bar and LIDAR as someone else had mentioned? I get my X1CC tomorrow. So excited!
would like to know that also
I need this 3d printer...but it has to be like 3000 dollars
How big of objects can this printer make?
Waste of filanent
How do u get rid of the squares with all the colors in the back
I wish I knew how to put lights like that in mind. Do you have to open the unit or use an outside source ? Any one have idea how?
Can you pls tell us the model of the 3d printer and how much it costs
😂😂
I got 2 of these x1 carbon.
Hi me again could we have a small tutorial on how to color models in the software or a reply explaining how
A fast 3D printer? Never seen one. 😂
10hours?
Does the Carbon x1 go to plaid on Ludicrous speed?
TBH, its an awesome printer for a beginner
for beginners that have 1300 bucks laying around!
How about you leave the "for a beginner" part off? It's still a great printer even if you're not a beginner. Most advanced users don't like spending all their time manually calibrating before each print, we just did it because we had no other option.
What is the bed size of the printer. Debating about buying one.
256mm cube- it's got some hiccups like any new product but it's the most bang for buck of any printer near it's price
This is what I expected when I bought my first 3D printer... LOL boy was I wrong.
What was your first printer?
Just got my X1-Carbon yesterday! I agree with the lighting… link to the lighting that you used?
My daughter is looking at getting a 3d printer. Could I get the name of the one your using? Thank you
Bambu Lab X1 Carbon. There's a cheaper version labeled X1. These aren't cheap though.
Can you use cura or is this a problem
Where’s the yellow filament?
Magnifique machine mais Cher !!!😞😮💨
What printer is that
Bambu lab x1 carbon check also bambu lab
p1s cheaper
In sold. Give me a price.
I want one of these so bad. 😩😭
Wow that printer is nice 😅
Goddddd I want a P1S so bad
See in stead of 1 1,000$ printer just get 3 solid average printers 🤷♂️ Unless it really prints fast af
Oh yeah? Well its max speed is 500 mm/s squared and 20,000mm/s acceleration.
Yeah the Bambulab x1c is 1500€
Where can i get that light
Where did you get the light?
I’m sorry but 10 hrs to print an alien is absurd! How fast does ludicrous do?
Not really to me because that’s like coming home after school for me after the bus
most of that time is spent swapping filament colors and cleaning the head. im sure just single filament would be
Is it complicated to work the AMS?
It's actually super easy and user friendly.
