Not sure on the measurements but I know it’s way out of reach for me. I’ve never really built anything so the little cabin will be a great starting point for me
LIKE !!! I love to build stuff, built quite a few houses for an income. There's a certain satisifaction in life when you end a day and can see that you've created a lasting enduring useful thing. A feeling a salesman, pencil pusher phone caller will never understand.
I was a hod tender when I was younger and even though I didn’t lay the rock or brick I can’t drive by an old job sight without saying I helped build that
@@lobopropredatorcontrol I see, I've been contemplating a log home for our build in panhandle (when prices come down and contractor availability resembles something normal) I'll guess I'll have to get creative with fishing line and polish up the daisy pump action skills if that build ever happens. I'm probably better off just building an outhouse with a view...
@@billydawespony4687 I think it would take them woodpeckers some time before the damage was more than just cosmetic but they can definitely be a problem
That cabin is what dreams are made of! Thanks for the tour Brendon!
Absolutely
Beautiful cabin. The floor is so incredible I love that rough saw timber. Hell of an elk.
I really liked that floor, kinda wish I hadn’t seen it😂
Thanks for the tour & what a beautiful cabin
They really do nice work and are great people
Love this type of cabin. Love from Norway 😊
Natural log homes are what we call em in Alaska. I've built 4 with 80 foot roof perlings and ridge pole. That looks like 60 footers. SWEET

Such beautiful work! You said it right... a work of art. I really enjoyed that my Friend. Thanks for sharing
Glad you liked it, I’m really looking forward to breaking ground on the trapping cabin
Beautiful Log home!
It sure is!
These cabins are amazing. They certainly do nice work. That countertop is fantastic. Excellent video buddy 👍👍
I really liked the counter top and the floor, my trapping cabin isn’t gonna be like that but man I’d love to have one
Did you notice the runs in the stain right behind Rauls business card ?. CLASSY
You must have better eyes than me

@@lobopropredatorcontrol I did that too, when I was about 18 years old, they called it Hod Carrier where I'm from.
Wicked cool 😎 cheers for the walk around 🍻👍
Thanks for tagging along
😮 how I wish I could own one.❤
Me too
That's a whole lotta awesomeness.! Long ways to that outhouse though !! Hahaha specially in a blizzard or and emergency 😅 🤣 😂 😆
So it’s up at the airstrip, I guess when you are flying and it hits ya you don’t want to run clear to the house 😂
Pretty Awesome looking.
Way out of my budget but I wanted to share some of what they build
Very nice the only issue that I have seen with the log butts exposed to the elements can sometimes lead to premature rot
I suppose, they do seal the logs but not sure the process, was happy to get the chance to tag along and see his handy work
@@lobopropredatorcontrol They do look AWSOME but have seen logs rot out the centers in under 20 years
Very nice
Much appreciate it
WOW!! just WOW
How are woodpeckers deterred from ruining the cabin?
Well they aren’t really and they have been pecking around on this one
