Very easy song but I only recently noticed the very buried lead guitar in the chorus, which in my opinion brings more life and another layer to this song when it is more prominent so it's not just a bland four chord progression. It's easier to hear in the instrumental version but still blends a fair bit with the synth, although I'm about 95% certain this is the way it was played on the record.

I thought I was crazy for the longest time. Folks would say they loved the improv in the verse and would say I’m nuts when I told them to relisten to the chorus.
