Love that Paz looked over to Din, as if waiting for his approval or reassurance. I really like how their rivalry and Paz's character developed. I quite like the big guy 😁
I feel like that beskar armor left behind that ship is meant to frame the Mandalorians. A united Mandalore is a threat to Moff Gideon and his allies and he knows Din has the dark saber to unite them.
I know we've barely seen Din Djarin in the last couple of episodes and a lot of people will complain about it, but, unlike Boba Fett, these other storylines and characters actually make sense and we finally get to see where the season might be going. I don't care if this is getting low viewership or whatever, I'm having a blast with this season! :D
Din has never really been the main driving force for the narrative anyway, he usually goes along and does what people tell him to do/need from him. Only a few times has his actions or intent driven the story.
That episode focusing on Pershing was a huge waste of time. All we got that was relevant so far was getting to know the big short-haired chick who made a cameo in the Coruscant scene in this episode. And I hate her for betraying Pershing. With his mind flayed, there's nothing for him to contribute to this season.

I really wanted to get back to Din and Bo. That episode might as well be on a different Star Wars show or maybe a book, while the beginning and end scenes could that featured Din and Bo could have been attached to the following episode.

It was hard enough with the actor playing my favorite female X-Men character becoming a trans man and sitting through every season of Attack on Titan admiring Commander Hange's moments only to find out online later that Hange was non-binary. The trans movement is erasing women! I can't lose Sabine to them too!
Don't forget there was a faction of mandalorians who sided with the Empire and Gideon did wield the Dark Saber, so there could be a few who would be sympathetic to t h e Empire.

I feel the Armor has made a deal with someone and the fact that she is now a supporter of Bo Katan, while Din Djarin wields the darksaber raises some questions. He had to go through a trail to become part of the Creed and all of a sudden The Armor allows Bo to reveal herself in front of everyone. Something sinister for sure is coming.
I was legitimately thinking Armorer was like “take off your helmet”, then she takes her own off, and there’s this romantic subplot that starts. But yeah, too spicy for star wars lol
Wasn't looking at it from the romantic angle 😁 but I thought "holy crap, we're gonna see Emily Swallow's face" as soon as she said the line to Bo.. then she didn't remove her helmet, then when she walks up to Bo I was think'n "their gonna do it".. then when she announces Bo's path in front of the group I was think'n "woah, is the Armorer gonna make the ultimate statement & remove her helmet for all to see?".. nope 😆 Really got my anticipation going there tho!
Yeah, I don't believe Bo's sect would rescue Gideon. They didn't like Gideon at all, and were totally down to steal imperial ships, and storm his cruiser to confront and capture Gideon. I think we're gonna see Imperial super commandos sprung him. They might even go as far as to have their "leader" be a decendent of either Gar or Tiber Saxon.
I love the design of that one Mandalorian with a "scar" on her helmet. Looks like something a kid would make when designing their own Mandalorian armor. Just badass looking.
It was so good in building on what we've already seen this season, and then raised so many new questions. Bo-Katan works wells as an emissary for the covert, someone who is well-known to all Mandalorians. But it was noticeable that Paz deferred to Din's opinion of what the Armorer's planning with Bo, which is such a change and have to wonder if this is playing into what may happen later. With the beskar clue, have to wonder if it's linked to the Imperials that Din and Bo encountered after visiting to Mandalore.
This episode was the best episode of the season by FAR Amazing on all counts (Bad Batch was amazing too!!) I’m like a minute into the video, can’t wait to see what you all thought of it!
Haven't finished rebels but knew it was zeb the second he spoke, steve blume's various deep af voices shine thru whatever character he is voicing to know instantly it's a blum character, the cg looked great for the animation to live action conversion... now that the cameo has been addressed, I loved this episode, mandolorians are always my favorites to play in video games and to see them doing what they do best in live action is a dream come true. This is the kind of mandolorian content I've been waiting for :)
I'll say it again, I commented on one of the very first episodes. We're gonna get a full scale Mandalorian war. Whatever happens though, it feels great to see a story line for all the Mandalorians rather than just Din and Grogu
Imperial Super Commandos is actually a good guess. Mandalorians loyal to the Empire from Rebels, rivals of Bo-Katan and Sabine Wren, have worked under Thrawn. If there's any Mandalorians in the current canon loyal to the Imperial remnant it would be them. I could see Filoni wanting to fit them into the Mandalorian somehow.

Crazy how The Mandalorian seasons are getting better and better, this episode was a banger and combat scenes/cgi are well done compared to some movies today
6:07 I think I remember her from the book about Princess Leia when the galaxy find out, she is Vader‘s daughter, and they all turn on her in the Senate, and she becomes for the first time the leader of the resistance in that book it’s learned that the empire/1st order is using pirates to destabilize non-republic worlds and republic world so that the first order can swoop in, so this sounds like that and man Zeb cameo omg

Out of everyone from the Ghost crew that we were gonna get in Ahsoka, Zeb was the one I was definitely the most "worried" about how he would in live action. So not only was this cameo such a great surprise, but it was also such a nice reassurance.

I feel that with Ahsoka and Zeb being in the Mandalorian we may see as well Sabine Wren with how the events are going of uniting all Mandolorians. Who knows we may see Lothal as well or someone else from Rebels.
There are rumors that we’re gonna see Fenn Rau in the second half of this season, I think Sabine’s better off being saved for the Ahsoka show. (And her story arc is gonna be heavy AF, considering she’s the one who gave Bo-Katan the Darksaber freely and doomed Mandalore to destruction in the first place…)

I wonder if there's still a faction of Mandalorians who follow the wielder of the Dark Saber, who last know Gideon to have it. It would be amazing to see members of the Death Watch following Gideon for destorying every other Mandalorian clan. They could set it up to think he is the Mandalore, uniting mandalore by destorying the warring clans and claiming the Saber in combat. Would make the Save All Mandalorians thing difficult for Bo-Katan, and a fun 4th season.
My guess/thought it was beskar alloy that Empire took in possession (remnants) when they lay siege on Mandalore during the empire times. Correct me if I'm wrong, I believe Moff Gideon in-charge in some way in the siege on Mandalore. Love the reaction ✌️ Edit: comment made before Michael mentioned it on video 😅

For a second when Teva said there was someone in the enclave who worked in the balance and Mando first turned & looked, I thought he meant Paz; and then I remembered (and Peli did confirming in her saying) that R5 was a Rebellion droid

I definitely believe that the title “The Pirate” is not in reference to the actual pirates but the armor as the character who is pirating the beliefs of the Mandalorian for her own desire of having Mandalore back at all costs
Man, that N1 is sifh a badass ship, also loving the character arc for Bo. Her uniting and leading Mandalore just makes so much sense. I'm not sure how or if the dark Saber will factor in, but I'm hoping it doesn't really matter.

I agree with what you said about the lack of tension in the pirate fight scenes. Grogu on Mando's lap during the fight took that away. They should tone down on the "cuteness" angle for Grogu.

Theory: There is a plot being orchestrated against the Mandalorians by Moff Gideon and Grand Admiral Thrawn. They could be using pirates to draw the Mandos out and then frame them for helping Gideon escape, giving the New Republic a good reason to be at odds with the Mandalorians. This has Thrawn written all over it; his followers from Season 2 had the beskar spear so it was Thrawn himself who left that piece of beskar on the derelict shuttle. If Bo Katan does become the ruler of Mandalore, her reign will be short lived as she might find herself at war with the Republic. A near perfect war for Gideon and the Imperial Remnant to neutralize the biggest threat to their plans and then proceed to create the First Order.
I had to walk away from my computer when zeb showed up. It took me a second to be like that's zeb - that SOUNDS like zeb and i just had to lie on the ground because my heart started to race. Rebels is my favorite Star Wars project right next to Andor so seeing them in live action is just giving me everything. I also realized I need to get back into watching all the clone wars eps because Bo Katan is amazing and mandalorian culture is really intriguing. I have a feeling more of those two things are in clone wars and my mom and i have been trying to watch it but she got caught up with getting her phd so...hopefully this summer we can dive into that series more...

This episode felt like a mix of a call of duty/ battlefront mission because of the mandalorians military style combat and the arial attacks from Mando and Bo Kotan
Framing the Mandalorians seems like a very Thrawn-esque move. He will always enact the most effective strategy in order to win. He is also well-versed in both mandalorian and imperial culture and tactics.

Well Moff Gudeon was part of the Imperial action that took out Mandalore in the first place, so he would have access to beskar. Remember, Din’s armor is made from reclaimed beskar from the creepy german dude.

Best episode of Season 3 by far! Holy hell, this was glorious. Bringing back Elia Kane from my least favorite episode here really sets up something that is coming, and it's big. The entire Navarro action sequence was incredible. It was like something out of a war movie. Every portion of that battle is like it could've been in a movie. That, in my opinion, is why streaming is a nice balance. The twists with Paz Vizsla agreeing to help Mando and The Armorer believing in Bo-Katan to lead Mandalore was something I didn't expect. The post-credit tease of who freed Moff Gideon is intriguing. Can't wait to see how the final 3 episodes of Season 3 play out. *This is the way*
Interesting that the criteria is "to have walked both ways" 😅 says something about our guy Mando, who also has the darksaber baby! And the next age is already upon them- Armourer said it in S1, the empire boasted a 30 year Reich, while the Mandalorians stood for thousands, I think that alone is herald, prophecy, good juju on its own. Grogu is the next Mandalorian Jedi, the age began with him. FK I love star wars ❤

Imperial Super Commandos is actually a good guess. Mandalorians loyal to the Empire from Rebels, rivals of Bo-Katan and Sabine Wren, have worked under Thrawn. If there's any Mandalorians in the current canon loyal to the Imperial remnant it would be them. I could see Filoni wanting to fit them into the Mandalorian somehow.

6:07 I think I remember her from the book about Princess Leia when the galaxy find out, she is Vader‘s daughter, and they all turn on her in the Senate, and she becomes for the first time the leader of the resistance in that book it’s learned that the empire/1st order is using pirates to destabilize non-republic worlds and republic world so that the first order can swoop in, so this sounds like that and man Zeb cameo omg

Out of everyone from the Ghost crew that we were gonna get in Ahsoka, Zeb was the one I was definitely the most "worried" about how he would in live action. So not only was this cameo such a great surprise, but it was also such a nice reassurance.
And a solid test run CGI wise, if they do include him as main or supporting in something

I feel that with Ahsoka and Zeb being in the Mandalorian we may see as well Sabine Wren with how the events are going of uniting all Mandolorians. Who knows we may see Lothal as well or someone else from Rebels.
There are rumors that we’re gonna see Fenn Rau in the second half of this season, I think Sabine’s better off being saved for the Ahsoka show.
(And her story arc is gonna be heavy AF, considering she’s the one who gave Bo-Katan the Darksaber freely and doomed Mandalore to destruction in the first place…)

I wonder if there's still a faction of Mandalorians who follow the wielder of the Dark Saber, who last know Gideon to have it. It would be amazing to see members of the Death Watch following Gideon for destorying every other Mandalorian clan. They could set it up to think he is the Mandalore, uniting mandalore by destorying the warring clans and claiming the Saber in combat. Would make the Save All Mandalorians thing difficult for Bo-Katan, and a fun 4th season.

I definitely believe that the title “The Pirate” is not in reference to the actual pirates but the armor as the character who is pirating the beliefs of the Mandalorian for her own desire of having Mandalore back at all costs
Man, that N1 is sifh a badass ship, also loving the character arc for Bo. Her uniting and leading Mandalore just makes so much sense. I'm not sure how or if the dark Saber will factor in, but I'm hoping it doesn't really matter.

I agree with what you said about the lack of tension in the pirate fight scenes. Grogu on Mando's lap during the fight took that away. They should tone down on the "cuteness" angle for Grogu.

Theory: There is a plot being orchestrated against the Mandalorians by Moff Gideon and Grand Admiral Thrawn. They could be using pirates to draw the Mandos out and then frame them for helping Gideon escape, giving the New Republic a good reason to be at odds with the Mandalorians. This has Thrawn written all over it; his followers from Season 2 had the beskar spear so it was Thrawn himself who left that piece of beskar on the derelict shuttle. If Bo Katan does become the ruler of Mandalore, her reign will be short lived as she might find herself at war with the Republic. A near perfect war for Gideon and the Imperial Remnant to neutralize the biggest threat to their plans and then proceed to create the First Order.
But who comes in first to make the first order Snoke or the leadership of the first order or should we retcon everything before episode 6?
I had to walk away from my computer when zeb showed up. It took me a second to be like that's zeb - that SOUNDS like zeb and i just had to lie on the ground because my heart started to race. Rebels is my favorite Star Wars project right next to Andor so seeing them in live action is just giving me everything.
I also realized I need to get back into watching all the clone wars eps because Bo Katan is amazing and mandalorian culture is really intriguing. I have a feeling more of those two things are in clone wars and my mom and i have been trying to watch it but she got caught up with getting her phd so...hopefully this summer we can dive into that series more...

Framing the Mandalorians seems like a very Thrawn-esque move. He will always enact the most effective strategy in order to win. He is also well-versed in both mandalorian and imperial culture and tactics.

Well Moff Gudeon was part of the Imperial action that took out Mandalore in the first place, so he would have access to beskar. Remember, Din’s armor is made from reclaimed beskar from the creepy german dude.

Best episode of Season 3 by far! Holy hell, this was glorious.
Bringing back Elia Kane from my least favorite episode here really sets up something that is coming, and it's big.
The entire Navarro action sequence was incredible. It was like something out of a war movie. Every portion of that battle is like it could've been in a movie. That, in my opinion, is why streaming is a nice balance.
The twists with Paz Vizsla agreeing to help Mando and The Armorer believing in Bo-Katan to lead Mandalore was something I didn't expect.
The post-credit tease of who freed Moff Gideon is intriguing.
Can't wait to see how the final 3 episodes of Season 3 play out.
