What made tech’s death so more more sadder is they barely have time to mourn him. They have to run from the base, and then immediately after the empire shows up.
Season 2 is without a doubt The Empire Strikes Back of The Bad Batch. The heroes get their asses kicked, the empire has what they want, and there was a massive twist of a surprise relative.
Yeah the Empire was actually a threat, that was my main problem w Rebels the empire was the main enemy but they were a bunch of butt monkeys who kept getting duped by a group of barely adults

I guess Saw indirectly killed Tech He blew up the base, killed the power, which caused the Batch to be unable to escape, causing Tech to end up in his situation

I know some people are having out hope Tech survived the fall, and believe me I wish that too. But he was attached to that carriage that fell directly on him up thousands of feet in the air. And even if by a miracle he did somehow survive that and Hemlock was just lying to Hunter, his body is gonna be beyond critical, possibly almost Grevious level stuff. And considering how Hemlock treats his clones, i think we'd all rather have Tech be in peace.
I see no way he could've survived, and I see Hemlock as being the kind of guy to salvage the body and present the glasses to Hunter just to be a dick and rub salt in the wound.
OK hear me out, even if this season had some "filler" episodes that just weren't that fun, in retrospective I think overall it has some incredible character development with some interesting concepts and a payoff that in my opinion, sticks to the landing. Also, is Tech actually dead like fr? 😭😭😭
I don't think anything really was filler now. The racing episode set up Cid's backstab, the one with the giant robot with Phe set her up as someone else the Batch could possibly run with which eventually leads them to Pabu, Gungi's episode is really the only one I can't think of anything making it non filler, episodes 9 and 10 further dealt with Cid being untrustworthy, and the Pabu episode set up this serious idea of them settling down somewhere and finding their place in the changing galaxy which has kind of been their whole deal in the show

“When have we ever followed orders?” Tech knew what had to be done to save his brothers and sister, and even if he showed it in his peculiar way, he still cared for all of them
Hunter telling Omega about settling down doesn't feel out of character as he not only lost Crosshair (in his perspective) but Tech too. Which leaves Wrecker as the only member of the OG Bad Batch and brother Hunter has and he doesn't want to lose anymore of his family. Echo is a brother to Hunter too but more like a best friend type but nevertheless Echo is part of the family. Tech's death is the last straw for Hunter to leave the life of a soldier and to retire for Omega's and Wrecker's sake. Very sad that they didn't get the time to grieve as Cid sold them out just because of "attention" which we all know is bs. This makes Season 3 even more interesting.

I think the Empire strong armed her into it like they do to Lando and she wanted credits to get SOMETHING out of it all, but now it looks like it wasn’t worth it to her because she did like the Batch.
You make a good point, but idk it feels like Tech's sacrifice is kinda wasted with Hunter wanting to give up without getting Crosshair back, like Tech wanted them to/died trying to do
@@beetroot7976 Except after they lost the chance to put a homing beacon on Hemlock's shuttle they literally had no way to find out where Crosshair had been taken. And they were also really damaged physically and psychologically. I don't know whether Hunter might have kept trying to find a way to locate Crosshair in the future, but for now they were going to need a break, at least. And he was REALLY ready to get Omega out of combat situations after Tech died.
Talk about watching cinema when watching The Bad Batch. I felt this episode more to be live action than CGI. I don't know what it was but it felt so much like live action. Then seeing Tech sacrificing his life to save his fellow comrades and Omega was just hard to watch.
This Finale hit hard bro. Like it went a different direction than what we all thought was going to happen Also totally called it with that one gal being a clone like Omega. You could totally hear it with the accent
@@rockerojerez349 Just like all the Clone troopers are genetic "brothers" of both Boba and Omega (same basic genotype, with some having mutations and the Kaminoans engineering differences in the troopers), Emerie seems like the Kaminoans used Omega as the template for at least one accelerated aging female clone., possibly to make scientists and technicians to support the Grand Army. Which would also make Omega HER "older" sister.

They went to ormantel and not to pabu because they sais they needd AZ to cure Omega, and AZ was on Ormantel. They said it when they was escaping so you cant mis that part.

I think the one beautiful thing Filoni did with Tek's death is now he can rez him whenever he wants and however he wants. The "I don't know why they didn't just go to Pabu line" actually hits hard :(
My prediction is that they will make a "Noble team" story. We will see them dying one by one, maybe one per season from now on or maybe 2 per season. And Omega will be left alone.
I think Tech is alive. Either he survived and escaped, or he was captured. Ironically, the broken goggles symbolizing his death signified that he’s alive to me.

Tech's death hit me like a punch to the gut😢😢, I had a feeling a member of the team was going to die...but I didn't think it was going to be Tech. Saw really pissed me off this episode as well as Cid (I mean she was obviously going to betray them but it still ticked me off). Finding out Emerie was Omega's sister...while I did suspect something...was still a shock. While this season was kinda on the meh side of things, I think it perfectly sets up a deep season 3 that I hope arrives in about a year, but most likely 2 years. I wonder how Emerie and Omega are going to get along. Although Emerie's past behavior makes some sense now if you think about it: the way she acted when Crosshair made his breakout was surprisingly thoughtful as she seemed to care. I wonder if Emerie and Omega were created around the same time but separated with the difference being that Omega tends to be a free spirit whereas Emerie is more docile.
I think Cid had no choice, the empire knocked and probably threatened everyone like Vader did to Lando. She gets credits so she gets something, but she looks ashamed of what has happened, she doesn’t look like she is happy about it and instead looks like she regrets it entirely.

Plus, this is my opinion, it was very clear that Cid was going to betray from their very first meeting. For example the lines (not the exact lines): Hunter: We don't exactly trust you. Cid: Good! You shouldn't! Cid's reply is a dead give away that it will only be a matter of time before she betrays them. While you do make an excellent point about Lando's betrayal, there are some very distinct differences between Lando's and Cid's.
Hmm...guy gets on moving train with super commando friends, falls from train saving super commando friends, presumed dead, some crazy scientist trying to make super soldiers...are we sure Crosshair is going be the one turned to a Winter Soldier...I mean Dark Trooper? The mad scientists brought proof by giving Tech's goggles to Hunter to tell the audience he is dead, the man have proof it's proof. Oh my force the finale was awesome.. I did a rewatch of the season 2 before this and I freaking loved this season!!! RIP Tech (who’s body is probably gonna be used for hemlock’s experiments now). The entire premise of the finale “We lost, we lost the battle, we lost our brother, we lost the kid, we lost and we can’t do a damn thing about it but sit there and wish it was all a dream” this was one of the best finales in Star Wars I’ve seen. Also I have a theory about what the emperor wants from Nala Sea, force sensitive clones, it would make some semblance of sense or possibly the dark trooper program with how many clones she has in her possession, but that’s just me and congratulations if you somehow read all of this without getting bored or annoyed here ya go bro🏅
If there's no body shown... One possibility that occurred to me: Tech is recovered, probably badly injured, is cyborg'ed like Echo as a result, and his mind messed with for whatever nefarious purpose Hemlock intends. Crosshair and Omega are rescued, leading to a reversal of situations: Crosshair rejoins the team, Tech becomes the new antagonist.
Some have said she might be Elia Kane in the mandalorion will be Omega. We did see Zeb, and Elia Kane actually looks like a female version of a male clone. That would be nuts! Elia is either Omega or a Sith Eternal member. A Reddit person made me deep dive into both of these theories lol. Dr. Pershing reminisces about always wanting to be a doctor since he was a child. When he asked Elia Kane what she wanted to be when she was little she basically said she was never afforded an option to dream about anything. That made me think if she could be a member of the Sith Eternal?
The accents and speech patterns are a product of the programming. Remember every clone goes through a basic education process which sets up all passive human skills, like speech, reading, and hand-eye coordination. After that-specific skills are implanted like medicine, explosives, and piloting.
Bet they do the old switcheroo and have crosshair become part of the team again when they go to rescue omega and have tech somehow survive and switch sides after some brainwashing on the part of hemlock
Emerie’s voice was a dead giveaway…Omega is her clone. Tech’s “death” was contrived…there was no real reason he was moving that slowly…so I knew it was coming. Also anytime Saw Gerrera appears…a good guy will die. Jerk!!!! Omega being the child she is..was destined to get herself captured🤦🏾♀️ Great episode! Hate that it was the finale😢
I just had a feeling I should watch Mando before the Dad Batch this week and I'm glad I did! 😄 I'm thinking the Empire traced the Batch back to Sid and gave her the classic "betray your peeps or we kill everyone deals". Doesn't make me like her but I don't think a criminal like Sid would ever willingly make contact with the Empire. She's smarter than that.
For the forest Whitaker jump, I look at it this way. Here he is still in his prime. Next time we see him he has prosthetic limbs. He is covered in scars. He has a breathing apparatus permenantly attached to him. Constant fighting and injuries over the span of 20 years could mess someone up, not to mention the probably ptsd changing his personality drastically. Keep in mind this show is still immediately after the clone wars ended, there's still a very large gap between here and rogue one
I don’t think Tech is dead solely for the reason because there’s no way they can leave that future romance out like that, I won’t stand for it! I trust we will see him again soon in Season 3.
There is still hope... Season 3 Tech returning... Hunter survived that one fall in one of the episodes by hitting the trees when he fell from the cliff.

They went to ormantel and not to pabu because they sais they needd AZ to cure Omega, and AZ was on Ormantel. They said it when they was escaping so you cant mis that part.

I think the one beautiful thing Filoni did with Tek's death is now he can rez him whenever he wants and however he wants. The "I don't know why they didn't just go to Pabu line" actually hits hard :(
My prediction is that they will make a "Noble team" story. We will see them dying one by one, maybe one per season from now on or maybe 2 per season.
And Omega will be left alone.

I think Tech is alive. Either he survived and escaped, or he was captured. Ironically, the broken goggles symbolizing his death signified that he’s alive to me.

Tech's death hit me like a punch to the gut😢😢, I had a feeling a member of the team was going to die...but I didn't think it was going to be Tech. Saw really pissed me off this episode as well as Cid (I mean she was obviously going to betray them but it still ticked me off). Finding out Emerie was Omega's sister...while I did suspect something...was still a shock. While this season was kinda on the meh side of things, I think it perfectly sets up a deep season 3 that I hope arrives in about a year, but most likely 2 years.
I wonder how Emerie and Omega are going to get along. Although Emerie's past behavior makes some sense now if you think about it: the way she acted when Crosshair made his breakout was surprisingly thoughtful as she seemed to care. I wonder if Emerie and Omega were created around the same time but separated with the difference being that Omega tends to be a free spirit whereas Emerie is more docile.
I think Cid had no choice, the empire knocked and probably threatened everyone like Vader did to Lando. She gets credits so she gets something, but she looks ashamed of what has happened, she doesn’t look like she is happy about it and instead looks like she regrets it entirely.
@@chazo1367 I definitely thought of that and while that may very well have been the case, betrayal is betrayal. Plus, this is my opinion, it was very clear that Cid was going to betray from their very first meeting. For example the lines (not the exact lines):
Hunter: We don't exactly trust you.
Cid: Good! You shouldn't!
Cid's reply is a dead give away that it will only be a matter of time before she betrays them.
While you do make an excellent point about Lando's betrayal, there are some very distinct differences between Lando's and Cid's.
Hmm...guy gets on moving train with super commando friends, falls from train saving super commando friends, presumed dead, some crazy scientist trying to make super soldiers...are we sure Crosshair is going be the one turned to a Winter Soldier...I mean Dark Trooper? I'm just gonna say this, Tech is dead. No way in hell he survived that fall with that thing fall with him & crushed him. The mad scientists brought proof by giving Tech's goggles to Hunter to tell the audience he is dead, the man have proof it's proof. I'm sorry I have to go on a rant on this but it's pissing me off on everyone believe each characters gets killed off (doesn't matter which franchise it is) if characters dead by falling like what about to Tech, he's 100% dead, he can not survive that fall not with that armor of his, Star Wars does not have PLOT ARMORS FOR KILLING THE CHARACTERS!! I don't want to hear someone saying "No death no body" THEN EXPLAIN HOW TECH FALL?! You can't because there is no reason to explain that, he's dead, I'm sad to see him go don't get me wrong, I had the feeling he was gonna get killed off but I didn't want to believe it cuz they develop his characters but I jinx it. Sorry I have go on a rant on that cuz I'm getting tired of every since fandom of each different franchise believe each character gets killed off by falling, or getting crushed by a building, or even getting explode & say that they're not dead, they survive, keeping saying & saying they have plot armor which is pissing me off. The writers & the directors wants to kill off one of characters that's their choice their decision & we can't do nothing about it & we just have to move on.
If there wasnt only 1 more season left of this show id believe tech survived, but i doubt theyd bring him back if theres only gonna be one more season left with these characters because im assuming they wont have any major appearances in star wars outside of this show
Oh my force the finale was awesome.. I did a rewatch of the season 2 before this and I freaking loved this season!!! RIP Tech (who’s body is probably gonna be used for hemlock’s experiments now). The entire premise of the finale “We lost, we lost the battle, we lost our brother, we lost the kid, we lost and we can’t do a damn thing about it but sit there and wish it was all a dream” this was one of the best finales in Star Wars I’ve seen. Also I have a theory about what the emperor wants from Nala Sea, force sensitive clones, it would make some semblance of sense or possibly the dark trooper program with how many clones she has in her possession, but that’s just me and congratulations if you somehow read all of this without getting bored or annoyed here ya go bro🏅

One possibility that occurred to me: Tech is recovered, probably badly injured, is cyborg'ed like Echo as a result, and his mind messed with for whatever nefarious purpose Hemlock intends. Crosshair and Omega are rescued, leading to a reversal of situations: Crosshair rejoins the team, Tech becomes the new antagonist.
S3 The Bad Batch, Saw, and Kal go to that mountain and raise hell.
Ayo, this finale took a hard TECH turn. Hunter and Wrecker r gonna go full revenge mode on the Empire next season and I'm all here for it!

Some have said she might be Elia Kane in the mandalorion will be Omega. We did see Zeb, and Elia Kane actually looks like a female version of a male clone. That would be nuts! Elia is either Omega or a Sith Eternal member. A Reddit person made me deep dive into both of these theories lol.
Dr. Pershing reminisces about always wanting to be a doctor since he was a child. When he asked Elia Kane what she wanted to be when she was little she basically said she was never afforded an option to dream about anything. That made me think if she could be a member of the Sith Eternal?

The accents and speech patterns are a product of the programming. Remember every clone goes through a basic education process which sets up all passive human skills, like speech, reading, and hand-eye coordination. After that-specific skills are implanted like medicine, explosives, and piloting.
Bet they do the old switcheroo and have crosshair become part of the team again when they go to rescue omega and have tech somehow survive and switch sides after some brainwashing on the part of hemlock
Emerie’s voice was a dead giveaway…Omega is her clone. Tech’s “death” was contrived…there was no real reason he was moving that slowly…so I knew it was coming. Also anytime Saw Gerrera appears…a good guy will die. Jerk!!!! Omega being the child she is..was destined to get herself captured🤦🏾♀️ Great episode! Hate that it was the finale😢

I'm thinking the Empire traced the Batch back to Sid and gave her the classic "betray your peeps or we kill everyone deals". Doesn't make me like her but I don't think a criminal like Sid would ever willingly make contact with the Empire. She's smarter than that.

For the forest Whitaker jump, I look at it this way. Here he is still in his prime. Next time we see him he has prosthetic limbs. He is covered in scars. He has a breathing apparatus permenantly attached to him. Constant fighting and injuries over the span of 20 years could mess someone up, not to mention the probably ptsd changing his personality drastically. Keep in mind this show is still immediately after the clone wars ended, there's still a very large gap between here and rogue one
