I have been enjoying your series as uou discover Zettlekasten. What would you recomend for a person who already has at least a thousand cards just organized by subjects or classes in school? How would you reorganize them into a ZK framework?

It’s scary at first but one days it just clicks and the benefits are extraordinary.

@@AM-DW How do people have so much time to write cards? Do you write cards throughout your day?

@@davidschmidt5507 it doesn’t take much time I probably spend about 30 minutes a day. Not every note on my big card becomes a main note. So far what I’ve discovered it that a lot of my note taking when reading is just re-iterating points so when I go to make cards I realize “oh I already have a card about this. Don’t need another.” Just just want to make cards for thoughts that progress lines of thoughts already in the box or add new thoughts that have been started yet. The big card is there to make you a better reader.
