This might be odd, but I like how you don't apologize for you being yourself. I watched this thinking that when I go back through old journals, I feel so ashamed of what I wrote and who I used to be, what I used to think, and what I wanted, bc now my goals are so different. It's really nice to see a video like this because I sometimes struggle to keep unfiltered and write without self consciousness in my personal journals for whatever reasons. x

Still can't get over the fact you look like Lauren Cohan. Seeing your journals makes me feel better about my journal. Just seeing how yours isn't all perfect reassures me and relaxes me knowing mine doesn't have to be perfect.

this inspired me to go back to journaling. i have been journaling my whole years i high school then stopped in the summer to college because i was busy with college stuff and i hated the college course that i was getting. i basically ditched everything i used to do/my hobbies because i wasnt inspired and i wasnt really happy about my situation so i stopped writing. but i totally regretted it now. i am now getting into second year in college . i will totally go back into journaling.
I feel so much closer to you after watching these. I found your channel when I was in high school and now I am in college. I have been changing mentally and this transition has been a wild ride. I relate to the intense rehersal times because I am a music major. I am in rehersals for hours a day every day. I hope you post more videos soon 💝

That’s funny about the pens. We are actually the same age and I was exactly the same way early on in college about using whatever pens I could find, and now I’m super picky about which pens I use! Love it 💜💜💜
Thank you for making this video. I've been feeling lost ever since I'm in college (I will be in my junior year next semester). Your videos gave some sense of direction of where I want to go. I really want to use art as a way of healing and social change too. Once again, thank you.

+Overall Adventures it's a bit "drafty" I guess because I'm just putting down ideas right now but it's basically about a kid who gets disowned by his parents and is trying to get his life together if that makes sense. but alot of stuff happens to him and I'm still not sure of how it'll end, kinda just rolling with it for now haha
+Beth's Art that sounds fascinating! reminds me of the twilight zone episode where two siblings jump into a swimming pool to hide from their parents that are fighting and they swim back up to the top and they are in a new place! drafts are awesome and super freeing! sending you lots of creative vibes :)

I'm writing in those moleskines right now. I got them at Barnes and Nobles. We have a lot in common. Good journaling videos are hard to find.
+Holland Rockwell Thank you! I usually get my moleskines from Barnes and Nobles too. My new favorites are Leuchtturm 1917. Have you heard of these? I've been ordering them off of amazon. They're similar to Moleskines, only the pages are numbered and the paper quality is a bit better! If you like moleskines, you will definitely like them!

I've just come across your channel and i'm in LOVE! It's like we're the same person! I've just finished 3 years at uni studying Drama (sad that it's over) and i'm obsessed with writing and journalling too! Then you mentioned Fringe Festival and Theatre of The Oppressed and yaaaas! (Boal is such a great guy, imma right?) I'm moving to a bigger city now and hopefully going to do my Masters in Applied Theatre which is helping kids with special needs etc through drama! ^_^ love Holly from England xx

I found that exact same journal you used in your senior year at Francesca's, although it had words on it, like wedding journal, or prayer journal, but you could just cover it up.

Wow... a thousand chords struck like a disjointed symphony. While this video is about your Journal Collection, the narrative (the actual content of the words) is what I took away from this "episode." A thousand questions waiting for a thousand answers comes to mind (and they would only breed a million more questions). "I entered school as an Actress and left school an Activist..." Passion is often found later in life while lust forms early. I think I might have to watch it again and come up with a thousand more questions.... My thousand questions are not about how to journal and what one should write or how one could be organized or creative... other than the fact that I laughed at your Left Handed statement. I too am a Lefty and quite honestly, I find it to be a miserable existence and cannot find much redeeming value in the virtue... but I digress. :) Rather my questions (a breed of a thousand) are more about the words "in-between" the words about Journaling. also...I've been wanting to share some of my sketchbooks...I have a goal that involves filling a sketchbook with actual sketches because that's rare...anyways, fun journal! and 58 goals...that's insane. I need to figure out a system for goals...I was good at it a while back (like 3 or 4 years ago) and now I'm not so good.

I have a journal just like that at 11:43 but mine is pink with poke a dots i really love it but i haven't written in it because i am afraid that i am going to mess it up
I know this is 2yrs old but on the off chance you still haven’t written in it or you’re having the same problem with another journal I just want you to know you can’t mess up!! The little “messes” and “mistakes” are what really give your journals personality and show they were well loved
No one else (unless you let them) will see it so there is NO ONE to impress! Some of my most favourite journals aren’t the pretty perfect ones but the messy, packed, and carefree ones❤️
