Keep up the great work! 😊 I also art journal and have a large stash of notebooks, journals and sketchbooks. Once I started combining journaling/writing with collage, paint etc. with art journaling, I was able to consistently finish journals and sketchbooks.

I love this! You are describing my process also. Emptying my brain of all of my great ideas; or even transferring the poem or lyrics that I am creating in my head to a sheet of papers allows me to expand my creativity and not leave something out simply because I don’t remember what I said at that moment! This is definitely where I jot down my crafting ideas when they pop into my head in the middle of the night! Thanks

I Love notebooks, not so long ago I was in my friend hose and needed one so she gave me one. Low and behold she gifts me one I have given to her!😂 now I know she aren't used them. So more for me, no I'm not upset about it I needed one to brain dumping some ideas I had at the moment. (she didn't remember I have gifted her the notebook😂) love it!!!
What I do is throw away notebooks that have a lot of nonsense in them, and i try to do this once a week. This gets rid of the stacks I once had and gives me room to buy the notebooks I currently want. You can use this cleaning technique for anything in your life. Its very helpful for decluttering your home or spaces.

You have inspired me to crack open a composition notebook and use that low cost type of book for fast flowing thought dump. I like that you call one book a scrapbook, I think that is exactly what that type of content should be called. You also make me really consider a little pocket book, you are so right that at times in the day I wish I had a handy little book to write something down quickly. I always keep a self reflection journal where I really process my dilemmas and deeper thoughts, its serious and private. I love the idea of a little sketch book for practicing a skill, I’d like to learn and practice sketching outside scenes of nature and buildings but I also want to learn and practice new handwriting fonts. Yep this is a winning video! And I love your authentic delivery style 💕
Loved this! I'm a writer too, and I like the idea of handwriting stories in notebooks. However, I'm not sure if my hand will let me anymore! Since I'm getting older, my hand cramps much faster now than it used to. But I get so distracted when I'm on a computer that I am considering it again. Maybe I just need to find the right pen that won't cramp my hand as badly! lol I also love the idea of scrapbooking/junk journaling. I haven't really gotten into doing it fully, but I do sometimes stick things in my journals like movie tickets, fortunes from fortune cookies, candy wrappers with sayings on them, things like that. I also use lots of stickers and washi tape in my journals and planners. I don't draw, but maybe I can start doodling at least! Thanks for the ideas! Just found your channel, and yay for all the different ways to creatively use journals and notebooks. There really isn't just one way. We do what we find works bet for us and iterate from there. No shame, no condemnation, no wrong way of doing it, which is something I like that was a theme I could here as you were speaking. Just explore!!! All the yes to that! 📔📓
I have way too many notebooks, All sizes, all colors. Now I am into sizes, large and small, and dots instead of lines are fun in case I want to draw (actually Trace) my drawing in awful-stick people only. Thanks for this vid. I need so get to filling them.

I'm not sure, but it might! there's a few markers that have ghosting when I did a few layers in one spot, and those seem to be water based. the isolation website said no ink bleed through but I think that's mostly for water based ink
Love your notebook ideas I have a lot of notebooks that is for drawing and for writing scripts ideas, story ideas, language study and journaling I have a lot of cute notebooks and I’m afraid of using them because I don’t want to ruin them or make mistakes especially in my moleskine notebooks Japanese plain notebooks and random anime notebooks the ones that have plain sheets those are the ones I want to sketch in And every time I mess up I rip them up because it’s too frustrating to mess a pretty notebook and people told me not to rip the pages out I know it’s a ridiculous mindset for me to make it look perfect like an artbook like people use their sketchbooks and they draw great pictures and I want to put only pretty pictures in it however I really wanna use them because I love them and I want to use them
I have such a hard time even writing a word in a new notebook. I feel like I need to be perfect and not make mistakes. I know that sounds nutty, but it’s the reason I have a ton of empty fancy notebooks and fill composition books instead.
I am so glad that TH-cam suggested this video to me because today was the day I planned to go through my notebook collection, make changes to ones I didn't stick with, and maybe even start a new notebook.
