    I hope you get a chance to make this fantastic homemade ice cream! It is so good. Let me know in the comments if you plan to try it or have tried it! Cheers! ~Hannah
    PS- (Edited) The ww program does view this as a "smoothie" so it is on average 6points.

    I love the explanation and the realness of how you say you don't follow it to a "T". I'm looking forward to more of your recipes 🤓

    Hannah...thank you for being so honest. I started ww in May and have lost 12 lbs on the green plan. I’m very happy with the results but historically I tend to get bored after six weeks or so on any diet plan. I am so afraid to use my extra points and weekly points because I don’t trust myself with overeating or cheating. I need to give myself permission to let go and just do it but I’m like an alcoholic. One good thing is I’m doing the plan with my daughters and they are encouraging and we hold each other lovingly accountable. It really has been a good experience. Thanks again for the recipe and sharing.

      Hi Danese! That is wonderful you have lost 12lbs...slow and steady. I too struggled with not trusting myself with eating sweets (and still have occasional binging moments) and it took every bit of me to not eat chocolate like stuff. So I changed things up and ate some fiber one brownies (one will be just fine for digestion...😉). And I had sugar free chocolates for a while. So like alcoholics that consume, we are similar with our eating habits and feel once we start we can't stop. I have a video lined up for next Monday about motivation and talk about some personal struggles with my weight...
      I'm glad you have your support system. I had my best friend and mother doing WW in 2011 when I started- and we definitely leaned on each other.
      Thanks for sharing!
      Cheers to one day at a time and going easy with ourselves in this new lifestyle change. ~Hannah💕

    I like this kind of ice cream, I made it a few years ago, and it's really good. I haven't made any recently, but this make me what to make some again!

      Yum! I just made some this past Sunday. I added a little extra almond milk so it was like a milk shake. So good on a HOT day by the pool!

    Hey Hannah! Great video as ever. I'm a complete banana dodger but I've heard that you can use frozen mango to get that same creaminess, so I might have to try it out!

    • @hannahlynne5522

      Lynn, MANGO! I'm going to try that out. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
      Thank you for the mango tip and for watching!😊 ~Hannah

    I make that banana ice cream too! I still think that's a better choice than dairy ice cream with added sugars.

    When I spoke with a WW Coach on the app about whether "nice" cream has points or not, it depends upon how it is consumed. She said if you use a spoon it lengthens the time it takes to consume so that the brain recognizes it is full versus if you drink the "nice" cream in the form of a smoothie, then it is equivalent to the points of a smoothie.

    • @hannahlynne5522
      @hannahlynne5522  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, I was made aware of the smoothie points. And I agree with you.
      I don't count my green smoothies with fruits and veggies as any points thought (yes, point-rule-breaker.).
      I was made aware of the points because of the nice people commenting about it. So, thank you for taking the time to comment! ~Hannah

    I love "nice" cream! I ate this a lot when I was trying out veganism and I've recently had to give up dairy, so I need to do this again! Did I miss hearing how many points you (personally) count for this treat? I've been limiting myself to 3 servings of fruit a day as zero points whether it's whole or as a smoothie bowl, if I go over that then it counts. I will probably have to re-evaluate if I stop losing weight.

    • @hannahlynne5522
      @hannahlynne5522  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Melanie! Wow, veganism must be hard. In the video I didn't mention how much I personally count this (as far as points) 😬. I count as zero. Sometimes I will add the mini chocolate chips and count as 1 point. This recipe is so good that sometimes I will thin it down (just add more almond milk) on a really hot day and drink as a smoothie. This is so filling! Thanks for watching! Take care, Hannah

    • @joericesgirl
      @joericesgirl ปีที่แล้ว

      I would just add 1 T of INSTANT coffee or espresso powder (Trader Joe’s has one) and a 1/4 t of vanilla paste (traders has this as well)

  • @cindyllewellyn6335

    So after reading the WW link, do you count this as 0 points (or 1 point with the mini chips) or more for the bananas because it's like a smoothie?

    • @hannahlynne5522
      @hannahlynne5522  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Cindy, I just count it as zero and if I add chocolate chips, it becomes 1 point. I know WW is all behind the science of how we process foods (and I get that), but it's healthy so I don't NOT want to consume this good dessert. I feel the same about smoothies. I will count as zero for my fruits and veggies that I add in.
      As a society we already lack so many fruits and veggies in our diet, I won't let the points of a smoothie stop me from drinking my spinach, carrots, apple, banana and a little mango with water. I count this as zero. Because if I counted it as 5-6 points, it would naturally discourage me from making the smoothie. (Last year I lost 20 lbs and had this smoothie every single day and was counting as zero pts). But this is me and my choice. ~Hannah

      I would say less than 5 ( not sure if the new plan counts things differently)
