I got a Jet Black 1x12 combo with a 1x12 extension cabinet about one month ago. I've spent about 30 hours on it so far, and I'm still exploring all the sound possibilities. I did my first gig with it last weekend, and in a week, I'll do (3) shows with it over two days. It's pretty sweet.
It's actually very quiet if you got straight into the amp. I've got some noise coming into it from my pedal board which I have to get solved. The clean channel seems to push the noise more than the crunch channel (channel 2).
Modern metal definitely doesn't rely on single coils. Almost no current metal bands use single coils for rhythm sounds. Some of the instrumental low gain shreddy bands are using them, but that's not really what most people consider metal. That's more of a low gain jangly sound. Great demo though. I liked the sounds you pulled out of it and I have a Jet Black on the way (already have the Black Cat and Lynx).

Sounds great man. Have one of these on the way. Pumped
How's the noise/ hiss on this amp when cranked up?

Tosin was using a Morgan 50 watt before switching to the Badcat FYI - before the Morgan he was Fractal based
He also owns/has used Friedman and some other amps.

Would love to hear your impression of the entire new line, aspecially "black cat" vs "jet black"
I'm amazed by the fact that musicians can afford an amp like this... Unless you do something else for a living😆
