    Graham...my heart was in my mouth all the way up...you're a brave man I would/could never do it. Great video though.

      Thanks John. The Go Pro def makes it look scarier due to the lens distortion. I wouldn't like to slip mind you but its not as vertical as the go pro makes out. Great fun if you take your time. Thanks again, atb Graham.

    Wow. I had to keep looking away. That looked scarey. Fair play to you and your mate for doing it. I won't be trying that route. Good video.

      Thanks Mark. The go pro def makes it look more vertical than it is with the lens distortion lol you still wouldn't want to slip mind u. Its a great day out if you take your time...and go with someone that knows the route. My mate had done it many times in summer and winter 👍👌 thanks again, Graham

It really captured what it's like when your a bit scared and we know that the only word that fits the bill is F--K . Thanks for sharing it Graham.

    Cracking film - good man! A few years (well maybe more than a few) a mate offered to take me up this - said he take a rope just in case - I think I'd have used it to hang myself halfway up!

    Why the rock has a sort of blueish shade?

    • @GrahamWilliamson1985

      Cheers Ryan. The go pro makes it look steeper than it actually is because of the fish eye distortion on the lens lol u still wouldn't want to slip mind u. A stunning place mate. Defo worth a bash at some point.

    Impressive, did you ever did something like that before or after that? Without a rope? That really looked dangerous. Thank you very much.

    • @GrahamWilliamson1985
      @GrahamWilliamson1985  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there. Thanks for commenting. This route is a graded scramble, no rope needed. The go pro distortion def makes it looks steeper than it is in reality. You woukd need a rope in Winter for sure but a dry summers day is safe if you take your time. 😁👍 Plus you need a head for heights haha

    Nice video I was only there the other week and wondered where you go up. Did you come down the same way?

    • @GrahamWilliamson1985
      @GrahamWilliamson1985  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pete Watson Hi Pete, finding the start of the ridge was probably the hardest part. Once on it the scrambling was ok. We came back down the tourist route 👍

  • @jonathanhicks5240
    @jonathanhicks5240 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Bugger me! That looked tough. Can anyone tell me if that is as hard or if its harder than Crib Goch. It looks higher and harder.

    • @GrahamWilliamson1985
      @GrahamWilliamson1985  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jonathan Hicks - Sorry Jonathan, I can't say I've climbed Crib Goch. Curved Ridge is not that difficult a climb, plenty of hand/foot holds. You would need some protection in winter though 👍

    • @xalingding
      @xalingding 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Crib Goch is a grade 1 scramble and it’s more Grade 1 because of the exposure on the top. Tryfan north ridge is a better example of a classic grade 1 scramble. Curved ridge is a classic grade 3 scramble. If you’re a rock climber it will be a good day out but if you’re a hill walker then it will be a challenge. Just remember to use your feet. I see a lot of people trying to do pull ups on scrambling routes. If you’re nervous just hire a guide they’re all really nice out there.

    • @GrahamWilliamson1985
