Also, watching you climb this, at a similar age and size to me now is incredible. I've convinced myself I'm past doing much easier things than this. Then I see you've done the Aonoch Eagach too! I was wary of doing that at me fittest! Well done. Incredible.
Sorry, boys, in the U.S. you don't qualify as fat lads at all. Average here. We grow really chunky cattle people here. Glad you had fun and shared it with us! Can't wait to take another trip to Scotland. Absolutely first rate countryside and people. And whiskey of course.
Great video guys. Thanks for sharing. I did Curved Ridge a couple years ago and it was nice to revisit this way. We didn't use ropes or a guide and we were fine but it does add a whole other level of terrifying not knowing if you're still on the right route.
Greatvideo guys , if you are seriously considering the in-pin then you need to get serious and fit, the walk up to the in-pin can be really punishing specially as you are just about to scale the most butt clenching area of the mountain. if you cant look down at that section of curved ridge then forget about the in-pin, you may shit yourself
I don't see the attraction of this. It's a difficult and dangerous route up a remote mountain that doesn't have particularly impressive views at the summit. If you had to pick something safer and closer to home and with better views you would be spoilt for choice.
Well unless you can see the Alps , the Pyramids and the Hanging gardens of Babylon from your toilet window ....I'd say the views are amazing ! The attraction lies in the same as anything you love doing ? It's thrilling , it's exercise, a great way to meet people like minded and of course that crap scenery!!
Good day guys, cracking vid. Thoroughly enjoyed. I would like with your permission to take some of your footage if I may and the reason being is I am putting a small dvd together for my work colleagues who being complete novices to hillwalking have no idea of the heavenly bliss got from being out on the hills. I have completed the curved ridge , AE etc many times unroped and solo but sadly little to nil footage ! I would not be using all but perhaps 30-50 seconds of footage to give them a glimpse of scrambling….would you mind? It is purely for personal use. Thanks in advance Kind regards
Your guide was excellent! Very professional.
Absolutely first class lads 👏👏had me laughing all the way through 😂
Climbed this back in the 90s when I was young and fit. Great exposed climb. I don't recall ever feeling like we needed ropes but that's youth for you.

You don’t need fitness as much as experience . Soloed AE in winter - but my sport was winter climbing
Great climb guys, done it myself a while back also in gorgeous weather then popped along the glen and had a wee meander up to Ossians cave.👍
You two guys are hilarious.
Fair play to you both for living life 👏
Absolutely brilliant. Well done both. Great vid Dave x
Well done guys im 67 and walk a lot, done a few Munros and would love to do this but definitely with a guide.
@@superten12 Do it! One of my best days ever.

Fantastic adventure lads, possibly to late this year to get good conditions.
Certainly going to attempt this route next year 👏
Terrifying but brilliant day

Well I can see the attraction but I’d struggle with the exposure. But great if you can handle it. Well done chaps.
THe great shepherd of glen etive
Well done lads. Great video.
great - made me really tired - I would have gone for the cheese scone.
Surely if you climb that, you go the whole hog and do Crowberry Tower?
Not sure about that. We just followed the guide!

Appreciate what you said but we found the views superb
Doesn’t have particularly impressive views at the summit ??? You must be great fun at parties !!
If there is no attraction, why on earth would you waste your time to watch it?
