Range Rover L322 Fuel Filter Replacement Complete 2003 - 2005

Complete Step by step Replacement of Fuel Filter/Fuel Pressure Regulator for Range Rover L322 2003 - 2005. This is the same filter found on many BMW's including many X5 E53 models. The problem was fuel starvation. The vehicle would hesitate and loose power. In some cases it would even stall and generate fault codes for lean fuel Bank 1 (P0171) and Bank 2 (P0172). Replacing the fuel filter solved most of the issues but this vehicle further benefitted from a fuel pump replacement as seen in a separate video (link below).

Glad it helped and you got it replaced. My clamp tool made it a lot easier for me. You can also buy a BMW Fuel line tool that's supposed to work pretty well. EDIT: You can see in the fuel pump video that I used a trim removal tool to lift the red collar while pushing down since my clamp tool couldn't grab at the angle needed for the pump fittings.
