Thank you so much for being RVers that travel with horses and are TH-camrs. There’s plenty of RVing videos on YT but learning how to do it with horses is hard to find!! Thank you so much!!!

Just went to check out this spot, only about an hour from me. I’d never heard of it before. It’s everything they said. There were only about 4 other campers with horses.

I've just subscribed to your vids from Australia: I luv what you both are doing, had wanted to do this myself some years ago, was distracted negatively, but maybe I can also find my way back to making this possible. Luv your music to; American and Canada is so amazing for these kinds of thing's and what a wonderful sight and track's to ride. maybe I should just fly over and become a permanent resident and join in living this kind of wonderful way of life for me, away from everything. 🙏💞😇 very soul fullfilling 💞🙏

Loved the video! And your the first channel I have found that lives a nomadic life with horses! I want to travel but I also can’t give up my love for my horses!
Question- do you find that all the travel is hard on your horses stomach? Like colic or ulcer issues. I’d imagine some horses would have a hard time adjusting and some would love all the adventure!

      Hi
First I want to say it was the best decision we made. Yes some days can be hard but it is hard some days I matter where you live. Live your dream while you can. Each day is a new day of adventure. Now as for the horses. It depends on the individual horses. I think. Jack loves to travel to New adventures but we seen it was getting to hard on him, so we made the decision to retire him to a easier life. Where he is loved and ridden around the farm. Now for Honey Bee she showed no signs of problems travelling until we ventured out west. With been on the trailer for 2 days between B&B and the mountains. She was sore and not eating well. As soon as we reached our destination she has been good.

Does this campground have horse stalls?

No they do not. They have high line poles only

I see you're using a Patriot solar charger, is that correct? Is the fencing part of that system or did you just put together your own fencing system and buy the charger for it?

We went to TSC many years ago and bought 20 step in posts and the 1/2" electric tape. Yes it is a patriot fencer and it works great...Horses have touched it once and I seen the spark. Never tested it again. We also hook up a fence tester to it so at night we can see it works to full capacity

Awesome! If you don’t mind me asking, do you remember approximately how much your fencing setup cost? I love how simple and compact it is.

We're in Canada so prices will be different. I believe we paid 3$ EA. But I bought the heavier duty ones with multiple places to put the fencing. Sometimes I make 2- 50' pens 3 strands wide for added assurance. Only 1 or 2 strand big pen if their hi lined at night.

The total fencing cost with charger was under 300$. We put everything in an old tent bag and hang it in the trailer.

Thanks so much, I really appreciate your quick, informative answers. You’ve given me a good place to start. I’ve seen lots of different portable round pens and corrals, but your compact, simple setup is what I was looking for. Thanks a bunch! 🥰🐴🐎
