Elkins Creek Horse Camp in Pedro, OH 2021

Tom Seay and Best of America by Horseback visits Elkins Creek Horse Camp in Pedro, OH. This is a privately owned family horse campground with RV hookups with electric and water, horse stalls, rental cabins and wagons and a tack shop. Guests have access to miles of trails in the Wayne National Forest Trail system and trails in the State Forest. This is a great family friendly facility who offers many events throughout the year.

I miss this place. Wayne Huffman and I spent a whole summer there when Rick and Jill were getting this up and going after the devastating tornado. The main house wasn't completed yet. They worked on the outside half stalls. I lost Wayne to a tractor accident, but I know he is so proud of Rick and Jill and what they have accomplished. Wish we were there.
