      Dr.V, my 3 year-old has these same freckles you mentioned. What's the difference between that and moles? I do put sunscreen on her often and hats during the summer to minimize burning. I've been using mineral sunscreen for years now, "Alba Botanicals" has one that's a spray that's SPF 50+ but I don't think it's mineral based or has zinc oxide because it's clear.

    I'm struggling with acne and melasma and I'm in my 40s with medium olive skin that can get very tan, but I get almost no sun anymore. I also have sensitive skin and very oily. I'm not on birth control and haven't had a baby, but it just keeps spreading, I wear mineral sunscreen and reapply. I use retinoids, tranexamic acid, niacinamide, licorice, vit. c, but it just keeps getting worse. The only thing that works on my acne for most of my life is benzoyl peroxide, but I try not to use it because I worry it makes the melasma worse. I would be so thankful if you could do a video on this issue with a detailed routine to fight aging, melasma, and acne/oily skin that breaks out to so many products. Every derm I have been to tells me to go on tri-luma and cycle on and off of that forever. but I'm scared due to the color of my skin and how easily I'm irritated and pigment.

    I don’t get melasma but really useful info in general for avoiding hyperpigmentation, the bane of life for skin of colour for sure. I wish out skin was forgiving, I see my caucasian friends getting all these peels and lasers etc and their skin is fine, I wish we could do that too without hyperpigmentation but oh well.

    Dr. V in your Oily Acne Prone Skin giveaway video you suggest we can wear Retinol and Azelaic Acid together but in your Actives video you suggest not to wear these two actives together. Can you please confirm if people with Oily Acne Prone skin can wear these together? I bought these products after you recommended but then got confused after watching the other video. Your response will be highly appreciated🙏

    Dr v can you expand your hair care range by including a shampoo for straight limp hair and also a shampoo for dandruff .
    Because I think the hair care range is mostly for dry curly hair.

    Hi wondering if Dr Rattan could help me with a question. I'm currently using epiduo on my face and recently bought the exaglow tranexamic acid serum, would I be able to apply epiduo after applying exaglow?
    I'm guessing my skin will become super sensitive? BTW I've got super oily skin, will my skin be able to take all the actives...

    I have a few requests after doing some research of my own, I deal with hyperpigmentation, and am pregnant so actives that I can use are somewhat limited
    - Can you comment on the Sachi product line, they have a lot of novel products that are fragrance, alcohol and essential oil free, including the triphala pigmentation corrector that looks very promising but is $$ so wanted to know if it’s worth spending on before buying. Same goes for the deviant skincare line. They have a pigmentation serum that I am interested in with a lot of novel ingredients.
    - Regarding vitamin C derivatives, there was a new study about THD acetate showing it’s only effective if combined with acetyl zingerone. Is this true?
    - Also please review youth to the people vitamin C serum which has 3 vitamin c detivatives and glow recipe vitamin c serum which has 5 vitamin c derivatives. They are newer
    - Also what do you think of the newer acids for treating hyperpigmentation like Gallic acid, ellagic acid and dioic acid?

    I’m confused….is melasma and hyperpigmentation the same thing and treated the same way?

  • @lifepath6187
    @lifepath6187 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Does this hyperpigmentation kit you offer is something you have to always use to keep the melasma away? Or once it’s cleared we can stop using the kit and continue on with spf

    • @vanitarattan
      @vanitarattan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd use it until skin is clear then you can do maintenance a couple days a week so 1 kit lasts a year x
