This was a life saver and the perfect pattern for my wedding shawl. I couldn't do the 3 string thing with the one piece of string. Instead I used 2 different colored yarn and made them that way. It makes a beautiful tye dyed look that I just needed for my shawl. So grateful and highly recommend making at least one of these in your life. Also thinking of trying this style for a blanket
The trick to have 3 strands at the time is so smart! We use this technic when plying hand spun yarn and I would’ve never think about using it when knitting or crocheting! Thank you for the trick!
OMG 🤗 so glad I found you. I love your Instagram short clips. 😍 I'm kinda not so great at finding links. 😕 looking for a new project came across this tutorial saw it was you yay! I'm subscribed and going to get all notifications. Keep it up, and thank you 😊 🙏
Thank you for the tutorial the shawl is incredibly beautiful. I'm currently trying this pattern out and I don't know if it's a difference in the yarn but it is not working up AT ALL like your picture sadly, I've tried two different types now and I'm following the pattern to a T ...I wanted it to be a gift for Xmas gift but looks like I'm back to the drawing board lol
I have a question about the 3 strand method. I have used this method before but I never knew how to undo the 3 strands when I was at the end of my project. I had too much left over. So I frogged it bach to not have so much at the end. It just confused me.
I love this so much. The three strand trick is awesome and I LOVE that your nails match the yarn!

What type of yarn are you using? It will have a different look with substitutes.

How many yards did each hexagon take?
I'm terrified
😍💙
Cool strand trick. It would work the same to use 3 separate strands too right?
Yep! It would work that way too.
