10 Minute Dumbbell Standing Abs Workout (High Intensity Strength)

- Tap in with us for a 10 minute ab focused workout that will fire up your core with some full body movements. This workout is beginner friendly but we recommend advanced levels to increase your weights or repeat for another round. With the full body elements of this workout, you can do this as a daily session to train your core and build ab strength. We both used 5-10lb dumbbells but most people can use between 2-25lb (2-12kg) weights to get the most out of this workout. Give this workout a try and let us know if you enjoyed it in the comments!

My favorite standing abs move is the standing side bend with one weight. For 2025 I want to figure out nutrition to lose the last 20lbs. Since 2022 I’ve lost 93lbs🎉🎉🎉🎉. You’re workouts has given me the confidence to incorporate strength training ❤

My goal for 2025 is to just KEEP GOING! I started in Feb. 2024(early this yr.. my bad, just realized I had the wrong date😅) with walking videos then came across your step to the beat videos. I decided to try a few different strength challenge videos on other channels to work my way up to yours! 😅 Then once I felt confident, I did walking/step to the beat atleast twice plus one strength video a week. I slowly added more of your strength videos and now I pretty much only do your full body videos 3-4 times a wk with 1-2 cardio days. So technically, as of recent months I've been trying to body recomp; so that's my focus. I've lost about 29lbs and need to update my wardrobe!!😂
So, for 2025 I just want to stay consistent with the recomp. I know it can take a while but I'm trying to hang in there and get my body fat percentage down more. I would like to lose an additional 20lbs and put on 10lbs of muscle 💪🏾or more; once I see what that looks like!! I just gotta keep going!!🙏🏾 Thanks for all the free content y'all!! 🥰👋🏾 #thrive

Kurt, have you tried ab workouts on a bed or a couch? They're super comfortable, as long as your mattress isn't as hard as the floor. 😁

December 31, 2024: Quick and efficient! I switched between 5- and 15-lb dumbbells depending on the exercise and wore 5-lb ankle weights! 💪🏽🏋🏽♂️

This was great. I am sweating. Toya I would love for you to do a program for mama's who have had c-sections, I have been trying to get rid of my belly for 9yrs after my c-secrion baby and it's just not shifting. I am a long distance running so I am running and strength training but it just isn't going anywhere 😢

favorite workout is the 40 minute full body strength and conditioning! i do that one every day since its came out. i also do the 60 minute full body workout with just toya because juice hurt his foot. my 19 month old daughter does her versions of them and has so much fun with me while i do it. my goal for 2025 is to lose the weight that i currently have. im 180 lbs and have had a problem looking at myself. i was 120 lbs before i had my baby. it just been hard. I have done this one several times since it dropped. My favorite exercise is the side crunch front tuck combo. For the new year I plan to continue working out with your videos 5 days/week and hopefully start to see some muscle definition in my arms especially. My daughter is getting married in July and I would like to not worry about my arms being out in a dress 😂. #Thrive

My favorite exercises are the overhead and side punches because I really feel it in my abs and I'm really looking to get stronger leaner abs. That is one of my goals for 2025 but another is getting my arm strength up. I have progressed from 5 lb weights to 10 lb but it's slowing me down a bit so I know I need to build more strength. I can't wait to see the improvement🤞 #thrive

My favorite is the one 8:13 (both sides). Goal for 2025; not give up - continue using these excellent exercises at the least four-five days a weak (currently on six-seven…but I know from experience…too high goals have downsizing effect on me). #OBLA

Love the standing workouts. I'll need to practice form more I think. I feel it more in the area between core and thigh. Upper pelvic and like the very edge of core? Maybe I'm not raising my legs high enough.

My favourite exercise in this workout is the overhead 'rainbow' press with a knee up (I am pretty positive that this is not what the exercise is actually called 😀); my goal for the new year is to work on my strenght and stamina, I have an upcoming dance performance (picking up dance after a few years gap) and I want to be strong and ready for it. #obla

In 2025, I will TRUST MYSELF MORE. I’ll do this by keeping in mind that I don’t have to do exactly what the instructor or trainer is doing when it comes to sets, reps, weight or pace. My goal is to tune into my body more, and go at my own pace. I enjoy strength training but I’ve noticed I won’t feel as good about myself if I modify. This goal will allow me to respect and trust my body more. #OBLA
