Hey everyone Adam Simmons here from Dgtl Infra, short for Digital Infrastructure. The European tower market has been going through a transformation over the past 12 months, in order to support strong 5G networks across the continent.
Vantage Towers, Europe’s second largest tower company, completed its €2.2bn ($2.6bn) initial public offering (IPO) in March 2021. Since Vantage Towers is the newest European tower company and the least well-known, we breakdown why it is important for Europe’s 5G acceleration.
Vantage Towers is responsible for building and operating a tower site and for managing and upgrading the passive digital infrastructure.

Tough to say... rooftops are definitely easier to build than ground-based towers. So ground-based towers have a scarcity value. However, both types serve the same tenants and functions.
