It would take minimally about $150 million to own and maintain taxes, insurance and upkeep on this home. If I had that kind of money, there would be many choices ahead of buying this monstrosity.
Im pretty sure all of this is was thought out. There are enough rich SOBs so that eventually someone will buy it. I don't see anyone keeping the whole thing to themselves, maybe they will make it into a resort or something. The builders wanted to create a big-budget masterpiece which they did.
