    The house looks absolutely incredible from the outside but for £32 mil the interior really doesn’t cut it. The exposed brickwork makes it look cheap. In my opinion it’s not exactly a very luxurious homely home. There is not one chair in the whole house that you can actually just fall into to relax. 8 bedroom house with 1 parking space 🤔

      Honestly, I love the contemporary clean lines. I like the older look of the house on the outside but it’s a good marriage between the two styles., houses need to be updated at least every 20 years to keep it fresh. A lot of people don’t like stuffy traditional. And I can understand that. Some fine traditional furniture would look great alongside contemporary furniture.

    • @dionlindsay2

      I'd be surprised if buyers are expected to live with such bland interior design. Maybe it's just easier to show it like this so viewers can decide how they'll do it when it's theirs. The more ominous possibility is that it's intended only as an investment house, not really for living in. Buy a house, close it up, wait for price increase, sell it for profit. There used to be overtones in London of ill-gotten gains being used. I don't know what it's like now.

      For an area such as Chelsea or London for that matter where space is at the most optimum premium having a multi level home such as this exquisite home you can see why people with a bottomless bank account can afford the luxury of building their dream home. Although it still begs the question why the previous owner decided to sell. Hmmm.

      Not everyone wants to live in the countryside. And having more space and lots of land doesn't necessarily make for a better living experience. It's also worth noting that the buyers for a home of this caliber probably have a house in the country as well, and several others around the world.

  • @danoart8988
    @danoart8988 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

    I love the contemporary interior. Very nice. I prefer a kitchen open to a den and although it was very beautiful, it feels claustrophobic to me. It would feel like you’re all alone in the basement. The staircase was awful. I give it an F, because a staircase should have an open stairwell that you look down to the floor or up to the ceiling. I understand the elevator being placed in the stairwell, but it really ruins the staircase. I wish they could have put the elevator in a different area. Also the brick color looks very bland and average. I would have to paint the brick white or a light gray. That would make it much better. The parking space is unacceptable. They should have a two or three car garage somewhere so I give the parking area an F. But good video and I don’t blame the tour guide for the floorplan. He is an excellent spokesperson. Keep the tours coming.

  • @MrSebastianBlake

    I usually love your videos but honestly I’m shocked I don’t think it’s worth 32million at all and decor I think is bland. (I guess your paying for being in the land of London) but if that property was anywhere else it’s wouldn’t be worth 3-5million tops. I’m surprised because all the videos you that were cheaper were better

    Good thing I'm not in the market for a £32 million pound house in London. If I was, I would certainly not have bought this one. It's utterly hideous and headache inducing. I have no idea what the developer and designer (if there was one) were thinking. It also seems extremely expensive for what it is.

    particularly good one. I'v eseen all kinds of houses in London from near derelict to top tiers and sadly, even in the latter, the build, finishes etc often leave o be desired. But this one seems exceptionally finished. There is something to be said in gneral about the editing of the videos on this chanel. It makes it difficult to intuitively understand where you are in the house. Maybe because of the lack of filmed transitions and the changes of perspective. A shame considering how compact the format is. A few close up shots of details /finishes would be good too.

    I think for chelsea or london standards in general, this home is really spacious. I liked that asian touches in the wood panels on the walls, bathrooms, the chairs of the dining room and the plates with chopsticks not to mention the kitchen I loved it. The back garden is huge and it had that greenery that gives that fresh touch, and the spacious balcony is something to thank. The only but I have in mind is the Scandinavian chairs on the cinema room, yes I combines with the style of the home but they doesn't look comfy I prefer a large cozy and comfy sofa on every level of that room and keep the chairs for other room. And for the end the cars if it's possible to build an underfloor garage with the car lift I probably put in there a Kia morning or a Toyota Agya, Wuling Hongguang mini EV or a Hyundai Ionic 5 (best for cities), a Ranger Rover or G Wagon for family or a Minivian like a Toyota Sienna or Honda Odyssey and for weekends a JDM like a Toyota Supra, a muscle car why not? or NSX or a Supercar Lambo Revuelto or Ferrari SF90 or Koenigsegg Agera R or Jesko. And a camper or any offroad for camping. I mean there's a lot of options to chose haha. I know a few of the the cars early mentioned are not in the uk but they are practicall. Even you can import I suppose.
    PD: I'll probably add a Koi Pond and a Small asian rainforest on the backyard.

    Buy a nice apartment in london for a fraction of that and get a lovely wooded country estate again for a fraction of that. London is nice but it aint that nice. I would prefer gardens and solitude and natural light instead of basements for 32million. What you are paying for here is the cost of the excavation works in a posh neighborhood. They want to recoup their money on a bad investment, a stupid decision to spend so much money on it. Plus it is actually disgusting in a country with more foodbanks for the starving than mcdonalds for the poor that somebody has this much money to waste. Tax the owner and the buyer way way more.
