    thanks for the video bro! my cmc and smc recently went out and i been tryna find a good video to help me change it out and your video helped alot. probably one of the best installs for this. still gotta decide between ktuned, hybrid and sirimoto though

    The viberation is part from not having the delay valve anymore its allows you to feel the shock from the drivetrain

      Wuilmer Mendoza yea its definitely noticeable it comes and goes i barely feel it

    You don't really have to remove the cowl/wipers. I did it without removing it. But great video

    Just did this exact swap the pedal feel and the engagement seem different the vibrations were definitely unexpected but still better than the oem

    • @space3748
      @space3748  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Alex Cauthen you most likely have to adjust the push rod and the pedal, my engagement is definitely slightly different but nothing drastic and yea i agree way better than oem

    Are the vibrations still there? Is there a way to get rid of it?

    I'm changing one out on my 2013 si today, sirimoto, this video helped bro, good material...any tips on tweaking the rod? Maybe just give it the same amount of threads as stock, take a picture.

    • @space3748
      @space3748  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had to constantly adjust to get a good feel i matched my stock one and played with the 17 on top of the clutch pedal

      @@skatinemcee My Sirimoto CMC installation went flawless. For starters falling back on this video payed off BIG TIME because pulling off the front plastic and metal cowls creates a massive amount of room to work with and saves alot of headache, i havent seen this in other videos yet. It took more time carefully removing the OEM CMC because there's brackets and hardlines in the hydraulic hose, old nuts n bolts you basically gotta be careful not to bust anything and my car is a 2013 so it was stiff. Installation was simple but I do recommend a good set of needle nose pliers and vice grips for the rod and bolt assembly, reason being the sirimoto bolt holder bracket sets wider than the stock this makes it super tight to get the safety pin in, its nothing bad but instead of over pinching the bracket with the bolt off, I pinched it with the bolt on so that I pinch just enough to slide the safety pin in. The bleeding procedure once the slave is on takes time,but understandable with the high quality hose needing to fill, i let mine hang to the ground and just pumped and filled because if you fill it while installed you have that belly loop of an air pocket just hanging. After installed, the reaction time im getting on clutch is like night n day i can basically shift and peddle simultaneously it feels like new and it engages much quicker than stock so im getting used to not having to dump my clutch all the way down, instead maybe a quarter of the way and shift so that's a plus. I went with Sirimoto because of the quality and it comes in a combo with a slave cylinder for just around $200 👌

    Just installed Ktuned master/slave cylinder as well and noticed a vibration as well but definitely a way quicker and instant response than OEM for sure and was worth the money 👌🏾 definitely is perfect match with a short throw shifter imo

    I didn’t change that end piece on my cmc. Maybe that’s why I can’t get it to bleed right. I’m going to switch them out on my next day off, I’m glad I didn’t throw all that stuff away.

    • @space3748
      @space3748  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kenneth Harrison try it out, maybe you have to gravity bleed it like how i did. It takes time for it to bleed this is my second k-tuned slave and clutch line, took me a while to do it on my K series accord

    • @snakeballs8965
      @snakeballs8965 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Future reference, bench bleed your cmc before you put it in the car. Air pockets can form in the piston well that will prevent pressure from bleeding.

    • @space3748

      Yea i know it slipped my mind when it happened, ill rather show my mistakes and get ridiculed for it so i can help the next person off my experience. Thanks brother for the input

    • @space3748
      @space3748  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This job alone i would say anywhere between 200-300 just because its alot of work to take all components out in one piece and bleeding the clutch
