He plays beautifully with his warm and sweet like honey tone!! but also his flute has been excellently microphonated. Most of the times it doesn't happen that way. Amazing recording. It gave the flute the presence and place it deserves.

Sorry but no. Emmanuel Pahud beats his performance quite easily 8OzM5yeb8Lc. But still he did a very good job.
While I do like Emmanuel Pahud's version, this one is just music to my ears (literally). It's wonderful how magnificent his phrasing and direction is.
But you, dear Cold German Beer, you really know what Mozart wanted, and it's your duty to share the truth to the world.

Even though it's not perfect (perfection doesn't exist), WOW that's a nice and wonderful ROUND SOUND. I don't care about the mistakes that he may have done because it's so pleasing listening to that sound. Definitely one of the best sounds I've heard.

except playing pp in high register all flat which is very important, all is good.his tone is great a bit different to my ear , must be the flute .all phrases're so nice played well. why is D note is always flater on the flute ? any comment ?
