- This week we leave Los Angeles for some much-needed TLC by Mount Whitney. This beautiful place gives us a break from the city and a chance to explore a new part of California that we have never seen before.

Watch out for being in a "wash"...a mostly dry stream or river which during a heavy rain, even miles away, can become a raging river by surprise and take down everything in its path. You guys probably know that. :>)

Eastern sierra’s, buttermilk boulders just outside of Bishop CA. I lived in independence for a year. Absolutely love the eastern sierras mountains.

I'm in Kentucky I converted my horsetrailer into my house with a Woodburner was parked at a friend's and guess who showed up yep fire trucks because miss noisy neighbor lost her parking spot

That's right you should never litter... I hate saying litter anywhere but especially at a camp site. You gotta stay safe
We try to collect trash at every site we go to. The broken glass is the worst!
