Nothing new about it either, it was typical metal for the most part (the most popular songs anyway), adding a few analog synths doesn't make it groundbreaking. It was relying on phrygian, diminished and locrian scale and downtuned guitars like thousands of riffs out there. People seem to like the trailer, so maybe you're a bit overreacting and too fanatical Gordon fan

Possibly, it depends on whether or not he ever gets amped up by the Divinity Machine and becomes a demigod by the end of the game. If he doesn't they might squeeze out another game in this time period.

It just dawned on me that the Skull gun is probably a version of the Unmakyr. The way it spreads its shots 3 ways and Hayden did say the Makyr's based their version on Sentinel weaponry.

Relax, this is ID Software, they've been around for a while now. The game will do just fine and will probably be available on Xbox, PS5, PC, and hell, maybe on the Switch 2 next year.
@noonyabeezniss4911 I'm worried the core formula of Eternal isn't back and it's going to be like 2016, i.e. maining the super shotty and siege mode, no chainsaws for ammo/glory kills for health/fire for armor etc.
