It just gets better and better, Doom 2016 was awesome, eternal was amazing, ancient gods was epic, dark ages looks....like this is THE greatest rebooted franchise in video games EVER. Even more than MK AND GOW.
@lordofnuttz101 I'm guessing you have issues with the GOW reboots too. I'm well past 16, but I haven't really played video games since like 15-20 years ago. But I've kept up with them for the most part. I never played the original Doom series but I know Mick Gordon's music was a significant part of it's success. Aside from that, I still stand by what I said.
Given that Dark Ages is a prequel and Hugo has mentioned in his Eternal streams that he would like to explore a setting where we fight against Cthulhu style enemies. Kinda like Urdak but on a more grand scale (though that's my interpretation of Hugo's word). So I think a sequel to Eternal is likely but not in the near future. @@m3n7is
I'm so hyped for Doom: The Dark Ages. The weapons look awesome, we get to see how the Night Sentinals fell, AND we have an answer for why Doom Slayer has a mech in the Fortress of Doom in Doom Eternal.
this series has helped me with a lot of stuff, i also have some good memories from playing the games. especially when I played the original one on a school computer and had the super intendant ask me what I was playing, and if i had my work done. once i showed him I did, he allowed me to keep playing Doom in school. once i finished, he banned the website i used about a week later. was going to show my friends how to play since they saw me play it during lunch every day.
