    I took a 200 hour course, It was tedious but it was solid. It helped me with my ability to work online. But at the end of the day, I feel that its about your passion to teach. I feel like these online courses are great, you get out of them what you put in. I paid for a mid level course and recieve job placement assistance. It was worth the price of admission.

    hi thank you for your contents as usual 💕
    i’m actually interested in teaching English Online , I’ll tend to choose more with teaching kids however i’m not still sure about the age’s range of it.
    I have no experience in this field ,no degree and plus i’m an NNES so i really believe for me it will be challenging but i wan to try to succeed in due to my passion about English, languages in general and my longing for helping.
    i’ve been learning English by myself a little bit more than 2 years with some self-study and i’m currently taking TEFL 270h courses.
    in fact, i have taken this courses because i wanted to dip toes in teaching education in english, I was indecisive (not enough confidence) but i did it.
    those courses really give me the basis with meanings and teaching terms that i didn’t know ( extrinsic,PPP, and so on),teaching method and examples.
    Even though after taking those courses i wasn’t expected to get hired or looking for a teaching online job, nevertheless I don’t really after those course NNES can really start teaching or maybe i have no confidence but that’s my opinion. i have also need to pass CELTA examn (two problem with it first it’s quite expensive one and second you have to choose between children and adult not both). what would you recommend for enhance and pass the bravery of teaching as an NNES? please i need some tips
    have a good day ☀️

      i’ll also say that a lot of people said,TEFL courses more than 120hours is only waste of money. is it true ? after my 270hours premier tefl wich 120hours is included. as a NNES do you thing i need to take a TEFL 200hours 5 level ?
      what is the difference with Level 3 and 5 according their TEFL courses please i’m on the fence and lost at the same time

    • @ESLTeacher365
      @ESLTeacher365  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi! CELTA is not an exam. It’s another TEFL course. If you want to teach online as a non-native speaker, I recommend freelancing since many companies either won’t hire you because of your passport or will pay you unfairly.

    • @ESLTeacher365
      @ESLTeacher365  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I recommend level 5 courses if you want to go more in-depth. However, for some of the more affordable companies, anything over 120 hours is just a bundle of additional courses like Business English and Young Learners. It just depends on what you need 🙂

    • @enory5983
      @enory5983 หลายเดือนก่อน

      what do you mean by choosing level 5 if you want to go in-depth?
      -level 3 with 120hours are just a rough teaching passage and level 5 will be with more details explanations and teaching terms?
      -as i already told you im taking 270 hours which 120hours are included and they explain the glabal meaning of the teaching terms. do you think as a NNES in willing to teach online , I should rebuy another tefl level 5? it’s tricky to know .
      I thought CELTA is better to TEFL in matters of deep teaching practice that we are evaluated in
      have a good day 🌞

    • @ESLTeacher365
      @ESLTeacher365  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@enory5983 A level 5 course typically goes past the basics of the 120 hour level 3 course. Not that the format of the course is different, but there are additional components like Teaching Young Learners. You don't need to buy another course, but understand that most companies hire based on passport which is why I recommend freelancing (setting up your own business to get students). CELTA is a much more rigorous course than Premier TEFL and other similar courses because it includes intensive assignments and observed teaching practice. CELTA is geared towards teaching adults, so be aware of that.

    Hey, so I've just finished my bachelor's degree in sports science, I also have a level 3 personal training qualification and have worked in gyms before. I also took lectures in my 2nd and 3rd year of uni to help 1st years with their modules in physiology and anatomy, so I'm not short of teaching experience. My question is, with all this experience and then adding this 120 hour course on top, would that be sufficient enough to secure myself a teaching job in south America?
