    Great vid on the chain guide...thanks so much buddy. I need to have a think on another solution, will purchase one ( heck probably 2 for $5 bucks each ) and stare at it for a week to come up with some ideas, which I will share if I devise something. Stay safe my friend.

    Hi x Moto my name's is Christopher, long island N.Y. I have a 2020 tbr7, white also.
    I'm curious about those light pods you have on the sides of the headlight. I have a L.E.D upgraded. bulb on mine, but it's an H-6 bulb. Better than stock, and the best lighting I can get from it is to mount it 180' out from where it should be, now high beam is my low, low beam is my high. Correctly installed I would have poor lighting and no high beam.it's MUCH better than stock (still sucks). How do you like those pods? I can't tell from the video how you mounted them, link?.
    Safe riding
    Christopher

    • @xmoto7377
      @xmoto7377  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Christopher Okeefe hey!! So I found them on eBay and I LOVE them, I wired them into my high beam switch and they work amazing because even with my headlight LED bulb the housing is not very good and does not direct the light, the lights come with mounts and I put them where the headlight bolts into place, I only found them on eBay (50$) I believe they were called Cree LED motorcycle lights I might be able to find a link if I can I'll reply again with it. I'd say they are 20x brighter than the upgraded headlight with a LED bulb.

    My 250 DLX Hawk . I installed a brake light LED that pulse and same thing when u run the bike it will pulse . If u turn ignition on without engine running it won't I thought about the resistor too if that would make a difference.

    • @xmoto7377
      @xmoto7377  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      definitely give it a go, i never tried my resisters since it turns out my turn signals are not really even the total sequential ones, and as long as my battery is not overcharged my signals will work correctly now when the bike is off. try the resisters and get back to me im, curious!

    U think the tape could be used instead of the screw? I have to fix same issue and I like the tape idea

    • @xmoto7377
      @xmoto7377  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Max K honestly yes I think so, as long as you clean both the swing arm and the guard really well and use a very strong double sided tape

    • @xmoto7377
      @xmoto7377  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Some people get theirs to line up, but mine did not so I added a small piece of pipe to extend it a little so it reaches one of the threaded holes.

    I didn’t pay attention to the order of the spacers when I took the back wheel off, I have 1 larger spacer and 2 small spacers. I think the larger one goes on the chain side? Any ideas?

    Do yourself a big favor. Get new tires. The factory tires are basically bicycle tire quality. You will see once you remove them. They are not safe at all. I went with shinko E705's. 110/80-19 and 130/80-17. Shinko's are tubeless tires but I put tubes in them. The difference is amazing. Best upgrade. And I've done them all. New chain and sprockets. New carb 30mm jetted with 105 main jet. New exhaust. Oil cooler and cargo box with integrated turn signals and brake lights

    • @xmoto7377
      @xmoto7377  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That sounds like one solid build! I have been browsing tires for a while now and since the season is over I probably won't put a new set on until spring, but thanks for the recommendation! i was looking at the 705's!
