One feature they should have included is for the front camera to have an infra-red/thermal mode. Would be nice riding down a country road at dusk/night to be able to see the deer 75 yards ahead walking across the street. Would also be helpfull in dark areas of cities/suburbs to see children, drunks, or drug zombies, lurking in the shadows, or just beyond the reach of your headlight.

I forgot to provide more information regarding my bike (2021 Kawasaki Vulcan 1700 Vaquero); I'm thinking of getting an Otto C5 lite and I already realized that the AIO-5 can use rear and front cameras and TPS which would be great reasons for me to get this system if not for the fact that I already invested in a separate TPMS and a rear and front camera.
Totally agree on the ability to switch between bikes. I have 2-3 bikes and would like to just be able to switch it quickly like mu Garmin. And speaking of Garmin. If they built in Android Auto or CarPlay to their head units I’d be all over that.

Get it, plug it in to test, petty nice, oh wait it’s not glove compatible. So I need to take my gloves off every time to use it… oh well. Looks like that might be a good one there.

Currently watching Carpuride W502 reviews for my Griso. Unfortunately, one cannot remove the original dash it has an integrated pressure sensor. For this reason the Griso dash is moist sensitive... I'm looking forward to future reviews!
So the blindspot monitor audio alarm doesn't pass through to your headset? Or did you connect the headset to your phone & not directly to the Chigee AIO-5? If it's the former it seems like something they need to address ASAP in a firmware update, otherwise it's a deal-breaker for me. Apart from the dashcam feature the Chigee AIO-5 doesn't seem to do anything that you can't do with a smartphone & a bunch of apps. BUT it seems a damn sight easier to operate than having to switch between apps on a phone, so I can see the value. What bums me out though is that I can't use all of its features on all the bikes in my stable. If only OBDII had been legislated as mandatory on bikes like it was in cars. And I agree, being able to buy a separate harness & dash cam set up plus a quick release to switch between bikes would make the Chigee AIO-5 a whole lot more attractive as an investment to me.
If I’m listening to music on my AirPods and then approach my bike and start it, will the music continue playing through the AirPods? Can I control the music through CarPlay while it’s still playing on my AirPods?
The only thing a phone lacks is getting information from the OBD and the cameras, which Bluetooth can solve. I feel like everyone seems to suddenly forget they already have a detachable screen in their pockets? If Chigee would make their software available as an app, the problem of having an interchangeable screen for this setup is immediately solved.
Do we need Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, i.e. more distraction on two wheels? You can use a phone mount for riding in urban areas and a GPS for off-road. That's plenty of screen time already.
wow what an amazing piece of Tech. Is there more than just stem mount options for mounting. Would be a great piece of kit for my commuter bike, which is a FZ-07. No stem mount option on that bike. Maybe I missed that part of the video where you addressed different mounting options.
BMW doesn't offer Android Auto or Apple Car Play. The rear cam w/object detection is the only feature that would be interesting for me -- I'd like a headless version of that alone, that could pair w/a Cardo channel to provide audio alerts.
This sounds like a GREAT product... if you have some of theses features, maybe a little expensive, but if you don’t .... think about adding this to a gsx-s750 or something like that. If you buy a 10k new motorcycle probably means nothing, but you can add a lot of real functionality to older stuff. Also an older z900 would be good with it , or cheaper bikes - trident 660, mt-07, sv650... if it had a removable screen to take with you and stop turds from breaking it off would be much better.
Thanks for sharing this! Will be looking into this further for my ST1300 as well as contacting them about looking into capability to read Honda's proprietary ECU. We ST riders are rabid about our bikes and if they could crack that nut they would have10's of thousands of ST riders globally who would buy into some newer tech on our dash :)

Great looking tech, but I think I'll wait until it's no longer just an Indigogo dream and they start shipping them. You didn't mention what the resolution is on the cameras or SD card capacity limit.
So will this work on any old school buke with no re all electronics? As in a carburated bike. Like a 2011 DRZ400? I have done a complete custom one off rally style dash for my DRZ. I am currently using a trail tech vorager(not the pro). The issue is the trail tech is very poorly back lit. So am looking for a good TFT style dash for it. Can I wire in everything? Is speedo done off of satellite? Or us it done by the magnet in the brakes?
Quick question, Mr. Spite... So I have an f4i also, and as I'm riding when my gas gets low, before my reserve lights start flashing at me, my bike will do this sort of surging thing when I get up between 9-10k rpm, and it doesn't allow the bike to pull anymore. When I have a full tank, it's running fine and I can hard pull as I need to. I'm just curious if you have any advice or knowledge. I will be replacing my spark plugs before summer, as I don't ride much in the winter. I'm wondering if it's not getting enough spark at the top end or if it could potentially be the fuel pump going bad as the gas gets lower. Any and all help is greatly appreciated and very much welcome. I hope that all made sense.
Ha ha, in addition to introducing me to the product this video has also introduced me to The Chug Project when I totally TH-cam stalked Spite's music choice when it popped up on the phone mirroring. Nothing to see here, not creepy at all, please move along. ;)
Great video! Im considering on getting one for my Zontes bike. Just a quick question, can the apps in the module function on its own, especially the GPS without an internet connection thru my mobile? Many thanks!
Would cost over $400 for me. Are theses guaranteed or is this another one if those Kickstarter things? I would love to have one of these on my motorcycle but I can't see spending that kind of money on something I'm not guaranteed to get
A rain test would be nice, like does the water droplets register as touch and is it waterproof (pressure washer safe)? Also does the dash cam record audio? Country of origin How's the night view of the camera? how's the phone app, if there's any for wirelessly accessing ur dashcam recordings? Clear enough to read number plates in day and night?

@@KinglyKitten I have this too, on a 7 year old Samsung phone dedicated to this task ona Africa twin. One that have glove option. Cant remember the model though, some Active, from 2015 or 2016. Great setup.
If you skip the tpms - could you display, say, altitude instead of the tpms data? Thank you for sharing
After 4 months do still like it. Can you make another review 😊
I bought mine around the same time as this review and i have used it for 6000km, i love it and would buy it again in a heartbeat. it works perfect with gloves and i have had no issues with it.
We have been waiting for this kit for eons. Thanx for the review. Am rebuilding an rf900 and this dash is going on it budget permitting. One again thanx. Ride to ride again. 1luv
Looks nice
Imagine if manufacturers actually put the straight from the factory
Of course, some of them would probably charge a monthly fee
I'm just wondering if while using car play or Android auto does this device stop responding if your phone loses cellular signal?
No, devices keeps working just like it would in a car, it just cant update online content on the fly (map, songs & calls).
Of course!! All Apple Carplay/Android Auto functions will stop... only the canbus info will proceed.
By the way: at this moment Voice Control in Android Auto is NOT supported with Bluetooth headset! (Chigee says the are working on it)
Highly suggest this (you don't even need the high spec version with remote) + the TR100 USB charger. The USB charger also works as a battery tender.
13:55 it’s like cardo packtalk edge can swap between helmet. It would be cool if chigee can do that 😂
Totally agree this is great but needs to be swappable between bikes.
I get so many emails like that too haha. I got one a while back cuz like that one it does car play and I thought “ok that might be worth it”. Get it, plug it in to test, petty nice, oh wait it’s not glove compatible. So I need to take my gloves off every time to use it… oh well. Looks like that might be a good one there.
Get better gloves! Or cut the index finger tip off.
@@spitescorner no, make a touch screen for motorcyclist if your gonna sell a product for them. My Garmin can do it, no excuses! Haha
I am just watching this video again and I saw what looked like the gps antenna facing down. If you are having issues with the gps it might be worth positioning it with the word top to the sky. Just a heads up.
I need this for when I leave the blue and white flashing lights
And I agree, being able to buy a separate harness & dash cam set up plus a quick release to switch between bikes would make the Chigee AIO-5 a whole lot more attractive as an investment to me.
this is such a sick device. ill be picking me one up thank you very much.
If I’m listening to music on my AirPods and then approach my bike and start it, will the music continue playing through the AirPods?
Can I control the music through CarPlay while it’s still playing on my AirPods?
i had the whole kit, tpms + remote its quite amazing riding a touring bike and this stuff is a game changer
An Ola England fan...I see you too, are a man of taste
The only thing a phone lacks is getting information from the OBD and the cameras, which Bluetooth can solve. I feel like everyone seems to suddenly forget they already have a detachable screen in their pockets? If Chigee would make their software available as an app, the problem of having an interchangeable screen for this setup is immediately solved.
That is very cool. I’d love to put it on my 310gs since that screen is so outdated. Having CarPlay would be awesome!
Do we need Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, i.e. more distraction on two wheels? You can use a phone mount for riding in urban areas and a GPS for off-road. That's plenty of screen time already.
where does it save the footage too? micro SD card in the dash? Android Auto/carplay support is pretty cool
wow what an amazing piece of Tech. Is there more than just stem mount options for mounting. Would be a great piece of kit for my commuter bike, which is a FZ-07. No stem mount option on that bike. Maybe I missed that part of the video where you addressed different mounting options.
Yeah, they have handlebar mounts that come with the kit.
BMW doesn't offer Android Auto or Apple Car Play. The rear cam w/object detection is the only feature that would be interesting for me -- I'd like a headless version of that alone, that could pair w/a Cardo channel to provide audio alerts.
can you power it via usb? because id put that in a car
I might have missed it to do it being Christmas Eve. But I’d love to see footage from the front and rear cameras
I'll put up a short with it when I get the chance. It's decent quality, not anything I'd use to vlog with
Hi sir, i just got mine today, haven’t installed it yet. I just want to ask where should i tap that yellow wire?
This sounds like a GREAT product... if you have some of theses features, maybe a little expensive, but if you don’t .... think about adding this to a gsx-s750 or something like that. If you buy a 10k new motorcycle probably means nothing, but you can add a lot of real functionality to older stuff. Also an older z900 would be good with it , or cheaper bikes - trident 660, mt-07, sv650... if it had a removable screen to take with you and stop turds from breaking it off would be much better.
Would be cool to have an analog converter kit to compete with trailtech. Something to add some modern features to carb bikes.
I've installed a trail tech in the past and this is waaay better
Is somebody trying to catch Keanu's attention to test ride one of their bikes? God that would be sweet.
This is really cool. I wonder if you could put this on an e-bike as well?
Thanks for sharing this! Will be looking into this further for my ST1300 as well as contacting them about looking into capability to read Honda's proprietary ECU. We ST riders are rabid about our bikes and if they could crack that nut they would have10's of thousands of ST riders globally who would buy into some newer tech on our dash :)
This is pretty sweet. I know some random guy makes replacement dashes for my Benelli Trk. This would probably be more trustworthy another option.
Will this hook into a heated gear outlet coming from my bike?
This looks like the best unit I’ve seen, but I wish I could disconnect from the bike when you stop some. You said it can be stolen, but how hard is it to get it off?
Ive got something very similar to this, minus the dashcam. Cost me like 89 bucks and does android auto wireless as well as Carplay. Its weatherproof and its been on my bike for over a year now. I ride every day. I missed like 4 days in 2023 due to ice in Texas. Best sub 100 dollar accessory ive bought for any of my bikes.
What model do you have?
If I were replacing a broken cluster on a bike, especially one with OBD data available...
I would like to see bluetooth to the helmet and 2 helmet cams, F and B. That would make it a complete unit for me.
Hi I dunno if it has been asked does google assist work well? I've got a cheap unit from amazon and it only uses the screen microphone instead of the helmet microphone so I canT make fast call i can't press the button on my headset to toggle google assist it doesn'T even work anymore ''podofo 5'' cheap headunit '' samsung s23 and sena spider st1 just wanna know if everything works on this one
@spitescorner you mentioned and obd reader for this. Did the adapter come in the box or is it an optional extra? Couldn't find it as an accessory on their website
kinda cool. i love techy stuff like this. keep up cool reviews!
The wait is over!
Does it have an on board gps? Like a garmin or tom tom ? Looking for something with gps for places with deadspots on phone data my gps maps depend on. Finding n alternative without relying on my phone
It does have a GPS unit, but it doesn't have inbuilt maps. For maps it uses your phone.
I am planning to quit using gopro if I have to use this. Can you please tell me what is the maximum duration of a video recording?
Does the blind spot monitoring work while the unit is in Android Auto/Car Play mode?
Great looking tech, but I think I'll wait until it's no longer just an Indigogo dream and they start shipping them. You didn't mention what the resolution is on the cameras or SD card capacity limit.
looks pretty good. does it have a way to get the video out of the unit? waterproof? thanks.
All it takes is some power, so should work on anything with a battery.
I haven't had that issue. I'd check your fuel pump
I like metric. It makes me feel better about myself.
Ha ha, in addition to introducing me to the product this video has also introduced me to The Chug Project when I totally TH-cam stalked Spite's music choice when it popped up on the phone mirroring. Nothing to see here, not creepy at all, please move along. ;)
If you liked the Chug Project, you should check out Ola Englund's solo stuff. He the same guitarist. The first of it's kind is my personal favorite
Great way to turn your bike like a car entertainment system 😂
Great video!
Im considering on getting one for my Zontes bike. Just a quick question, can the apps in the module function on its own, especially the GPS without an internet connection thru my mobile?
Many thanks!
Would cost over $400 for me. Are theses guaranteed or is this another one if those Kickstarter things? I would love to have one of these on my motorcycle but I can't see spending that kind of money on something I'm not guaranteed to get
I think this is the same thing Whitney reviewed a couple weeks back. She liked it.
How do you think it would fare off road?
I want to get one for my dual sport that’s 90 percent off road, but I don’t want to toast a 600 dollar unit
If you're doing 90% on road, you're probably also not hitting particularly nasty stuff so I'd say it's fine
My Yamaha Stryker will be getting one.
A rain test would be nice, like does the water droplets register as touch and is it waterproof (pressure washer safe)?
Also does the dash cam record audio? Country of origin
How's the night view of the camera? how's the phone app, if there's any for wirelessly accessing ur dashcam recordings? Clear enough to read number plates in day and night?
The wiring could be solved with a USB plug n play unless it had an update where it tied into the indicators and lights
would this work with the 2022 Honda CBR300R? looking to get this for the gear/ shift indicator.
You get a 1000 kgs worth of emails?!?! Wow.
that's okay he knows a forklift guy for when a bunch of spam comes in unexpected
